Okay, i've figured out what went wrong; Iseris never explained where his clone was positioned, in ali's mind, it was created infront of him but iim guessing that iseris thought of it being created to the side, so this is a fault on iseris's point and not giving a proper description but in any case, clones are usually created on one of the sides of the user, so it was wrong for ali to instantly come to the conclusion of it being created infront of iseris.
