⌘ UNIVERSAL RULES

• You can only use the bio you posted in your application or an update that dates from before the start of the tournament.

• By default, the basic battle rules will be applied.

• Each round will last at max of 5 days with a 12 hour reply limit. Opponents start 5 meters apart in the Rose Corridor, pictured above.

• During the first round, members can only use S rank and lower non Chakra taxing Canon Taijutsu and Kenjutsu fields. These are Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Samurai Techniques, and NB Taijutsu. The armor given to the competitors restrict access to abilities not listed each round, allowing more to be utilized as rounds progress. Only weapons given may be used as well.

• All competitors are restricted to Jounin Ranked Speed. Health is reduced to Chunin levels and Chakra taxing techniques have been removed from use. Specialties, Passive Boosts ( Health, Chakra, Speed, Damage, etc ) are all disabled and competitors are left at the same levels completely. Previously used techniques, Summonings, Creations and similar and passives are disabled as well. These reductions decrease every round, noted before the round commences.​

Jonathan smirked as the approaching opponent adopted what seemed to be a traditional boxing stance of sorts, Jonathan kept his hands slightly closer together than that however, both were raised with the left hand closer to his face, whilst the right hand was lower in line with his shoulder. His blade rested on his back, it was a large broadsword in a half sheath to allow swift drawing should it be needed.

Both of Jonathan's elbows were in line with his rib cage, making for an effective cover stance. With this done, the Joestar would slide forwards using his right foot to generate the force and his left to lead the momentum, simultaneous to this movement he would begin to twist his hips transferring the kinetic force through his thighs and waist to his upper body. Using this momentum he would deliver a left jab aimed at the upper ribcage of the opponent using the maximum reach his height allowed, following that by sliding in closer throwing a right uppercut to her gut.

Whilst he threw the right hand punch, his left opened in to a flat palm strike, that he would thrust in to the opponents exposed spine, should the gut punch connect and cause her to double over of course. While these actions took place, Jonathan was mindful of his opponents movements, focusing on key zones such as the shoulders and knees, the areas where movements would begin, should he see a counter attack he would be ready to close his stance up once more.

Among one of the few women to actually enter the tournament, Mirabelle was a bit surprised by this fact, but it didn’t truly bother her. Never the less, she entered into the Rose Corridor Arena, spotting an extremely buff gentleman not too far away from her. Tall as well, she felt shorter than she already was – but she approached up to the starting point. “No formalities?” she said watching him take a battle stance. Her brow cocked upwards a bit as she flicked her hat upwards a little. So be it, immediately as the fellow rushed at her – she casually struts towards him, hand on her hip. She had a basic sword; one she picked perfectly in weight and size for her someone of her build to wield to the utmost efficiency.

His arm reeled back slightly in order to throw a jab directly at the maiden. It was aimed at her chest, rude but never the less she wasn’t keen on taking the blow. Instead, she simply matched his punch with a kick. She would jump off the ground slightly, as she swiftly extends her right leg to clash with Jojo’s fist. The two techniques clashed, with both of them ending quickly neutrally but never the less - she figured this wouldn’t be the end of it, watching as Jonathan aimed to close the distance to perform another strike.


In the motion of her landing, she would lean her body back into a handspring motion as she leaped backward out of the strike. Despite all this, she would rush back towards him; moving in a zig-zag motion as she jumped into the air performing a front flip. Utilizing her left leg first, she delivered a quick combo of three kicks to Jojo’s chest, each one getting lower but being equally powerful. Should her attempt be successful, she would use the last kick as the means to push off the man’s broad chest and land back one meter away. “Has your mother never taught you its not nice to hit a woman?” she asked Jojo with a cheeky smile.

Jonathan saw his opponents knees tense first, before she span on the spot, aimed to intercept his fist with a spinning kick, how very flamboyant, was his first thought upon seeing this. This spin completed with his long reach advantage on his opponent, meaning that even from a kick, he was able to step in ever so slightly outside the guard, to deliver a spinning back fist using his right arm, with the back of his knuckles aimed to strike above the opponents right eye, against the hard bone around the socket, an area that was very easy to bust open with bare knuckles, should it be successful the blood could impede the adversaries vision.

Should the spinning back fist connect, Jonathan would follow up with a roundhouse kick from his left leg, aimed for the opponents floating ribs, on their right hand flank, a kick of such force could potentially wind them or even fracture the rib if it landed clean.

"Would you rather I held back then? Because you're a girl? I always saw myself as a equal rights supporter personally." Jonathan said jokingly.

This leads into her kicking him with her left foot first to his ribcage, followed by another kick to his right rib cage. She floated a bit above him, as she punched him downwards to the ground but immediately she came down with a final kick to the stomach. “Dragon’s Barrage!” she yelled, stomping down on his body as she swiftly jumps off and repositions herself.

“Equal rights huh…alright, that’s fair haha” she said.

(Shishi Rendan) - Lions Barrage

Jonathan watched as his opponent performed the splits, in a very flamboyant and acrobatic fashion, it was unusual for Jonathan to not have his byakugan activated and it could've caught him off guard, thankfully the previous attack combination he had initiated had a follow up in mind already, so Jonathan would simply continue the spin as the backfist soared through the air over the opponent, and continue to spin in to a powerful kick using his left leg, aimed at the opponents knee of their offensive leg causing the adversaries kick to be negated. Thankfully the opponent had taken a small amount of time to reposition to perform their kick, this gave Jonathan adequate time to counter the kick.

Description: The user kicks the enemy in the knee, causing him to stumble in his movement and fall to the earth. If used with a chakra enhanced kick, the user can break the leg of the enemy with this.

Like an anthropomorphic beyblade Jonathan continued his spinning assault, the momentum carried from his stumbling turtle he would raise his left leg aimed to kick his adversary in the skull, then follow up with another spin kick using the same leg aimed at his opponents neck. He would stop spinning after this, as he would probably be getting dizzy and anyone that spins more than this is probably also dizzy unless they have ninja balance.

Jonathan adopted his stance once more as they broke apart, noticing his adversary draw her blade and charge in, Jonathan wasn't ready to draw his own yet, it seemed too early for a clashing of steel something that often brought a finite end to combat. Instead he lowered his stance slightly as the woman hurtled in with her thrust, moving his left hand to the inside of the blade, Jonathan would use the open hand method to push the thrust outside of his centre line, outside of his whole body while not stopping the forwards momentum. This would leave him incredibly close the the opponent with her sword in a difficult position.

(Shubi Kurēn) Defensive Crane

Description: A very advanced and complex defensive form, the Defensive Crane allows the user to divert the path of incoming attacks with the back of his hands, using circular and wide movements that expand outwards. He can intercept weapons or incoming taijutsu attacks. The technique is best used when facing an opposing Taijutsu move by diverting the incoming limb to one side and combo the defensive stance with an attack, exploiting the opening created.

The moment he had performed the defensive crane technique, Jonathan dropped his body backwards like a spring, delivering a huge kick aimed beneath the opponents chin, this kick would send the opponent soaring in to the air should it connect, and probably knock the sword out of her hand leaving her stunned. Should the kick connect Jonathan would leap in to the air grabbing his opponents ankles and twisting her in to a body lock, allowing him to deliver a brutal piledriver potentially.

As discussed on Discord I don't believe your attempt to springboard off my foot would work, given timeframe constraints and height differences. That said we are continuing on as though the move worked.

Jonathan watched as his adversary leapt with superhuman perhaps even ninja like dexterity, landing on Jonathan's offensive leg and using it as a springboard. Once she had done this and was sailing to greater heights, Jonathan himself chose to use the momentum they both generated to roll backwards pressing off the palm he had on the floor, once he had done so he would use the force to back flip to his feet very quickly avoiding his adversaries falling blade at the last moment, he surmised it would strike the ground once he had avoided it given the irresistible pull of gravity.

In the same motion that led him back to his feet via back flip, his free right hand would be rapidly drawing his blade in a violent arc, aimed to cleave the woman's chest with his hand and a half sword, the blade was longer than the average katana and was sharpened on both sides making it a formidable weapon. The strike was aimed in a diagonal fashion and would strike his opponent on her left shoulder and cut down to the right hip if uninterrupted.

"Jonathan, Jonathan Joestar!" He obliged and returned names in the exchange with his adversary, but that wasn't all he did. As the blades clashed, his opponent parrying his own blade, Jonathan used the moment they connected along with the momentum generated being stopped to act, placing his right hand on the outside flat of the opponents weapon he would use the defensive crane to push the weapon off his centre line, allowing him to disengage his own blade, still held in his left hand. This would allow his left arm the freedom to swing powerfully, using the broadsword to slice up and through the opponents right arm if successful.

This would cause tremendous damage and probably disable her arm if it worked, but it wouldn't kill her unless it went untreated. the slice occurred at the same time as the crane pushing the blade aside.

With her one hand on the blade’s handle, she would remove it as she was airborne – as she flipped into a downward kick onto her opponent’s head, performing a sole dropkick.

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Joestar” she said above him as she jumped off of him to land directly behind of him. She felt out of place, not having her usual forms of combat felt like a fish without water. Never the less, she needed to survive the first round as much as she could but all this jumping and dodging really could have been handled with her other true martial arts.

Presuming you used your arms to push off the sword to jump, you may have been hit by my move just then since it was aimed for said arms on the sword, driving the sword down would've probably just ran it towards my sword but IDK for sure, continuing anyway.

Jonathan watched as his opponent went airborne, avoiding his swing by the most narrow of margins, she went flying up above him and positioned her body downwards, looked like she was going to kick him, but she'd made a fatal error, by going airborne it was very unlikely she would be able to reposition again, especially without any chakra based abilities being possible in the armour, she was falling directly at him feet first and her blade was higher than them.

With this in mind Jonathan lowered his blade slightly, moving it to his right side and bringing it sweeping up in a huge horizontal arc aimed to slice through both her legs at the shins, the force of the broadsword would send her flying off target preventing her kick as well as doing tremendous damage to her legs, Jonathan wasn't a murderer however, he still intended to fix her up once the fight ended, but he had to win for his village.

With the big guy swinging the sword once more, Mirabelle was mentally aware that her aerial position can leave her in a rather awkward position. Never the less, she had direct thoughts in those moments on how to handle it, swinging her arm downward swiftly to use the momentum to reposition herself so what seems like a strike to the shins, would possibly hit her upper leg/lower abdomen but instead, it would meet the fury of her sword. As another parry accord between the two blades. She would land onto the ground, breathing a bit heavy due to being under the effect of the damned fever. “Shit…” she said out loud slightly. She took a moment to talk to Jojo instead of attacking.

“I don’t get it…why are these people making us fight for the antidotes…first they are making us hunt down these people who have the severe case, but then what? We become their lab rat? Now if the cure, antidote or whatever exists, we have to fight for it. Don’t you think it’s a little bit shady, Jojo? Hope you don’t mind me calling you that” she said.

She didn’t want to fight anymore, especially someone who seemed to be more of a gentle giant than anything. “Before we continue, do you have any true purpose for the cure? Do you intend on keeping it yourself or are you going to share it with mankind” she asked. His answer will determine what her next move will be unless he choices to be aggressive on his own free will.

"Yes it certainly is troubling, I dislike violence but these are the only people with the cure that I've heard of and I have literally, travelled the world. I need to save my village, so I need that cure. That is why I fight though I have no desire to murder strangers. Whoever organised this probably has some nefarious purposes in mind, but I'll stop them too." Jonathan said, putting his sword on his back once more.

He had no desire to fight her unless she approached again, he had to get the cure but he wasn't willing to commit cold blooded murder, or harm someone needlessly. He was better than that. Still he remained cautious in case it was a trick, after all he had never met this person before.

"Oh, also Jojo is fine, it's what a lot of people call me, you must have good luck to guess it so quickly, sometimes they call me Jonny for short but I literally can't stand that." Jonathan said with a little chuckle.

Jonathan smiled as he saw the person looking at some trinket, seemed she wasn't a bad person at her core either. As she spoke he nodded in agreement, he didn't like the needless violence but it seemed to be the only way to see this to it's end, and if both of them were disqualified everything would be for nought. Adopting his boxing stance once more he grinned, no more holding back, to do so would dishonour the wishes of himself, and his opponent.

He stepped in, his left foot leading, and his right foot supporting the rear. He sprung forwards using the right to generate rapid momentum that transferred through his waist in to a breakneck speed jab using his left hand, aimed at the centre of the girls upper sternum, then a second punch, from the right fist would cut through the air, more powerful than the first, this was a body hook aimed at the lower floating ribs that covered the spleen. As the right was thrown the left was drawn back, in such a way that should the right hook land a left palm strike would follow, striking the opponent once more with crushing force knocking her to the ground if successful.

Description: The user performs a small combo where he starts by punching the enemy in the chest and then a punch to the gut, and then a powerful palm thrust, pushing him down to the earth.

As Jonathan reached the overdrive part of his sentence he began to unleash a flurry of strikes, using a similar method to his usual gentle fist, however the armour prevents the usage of tenketsu sealing via the miniature chakra blade, instead each strike was simply freeform damage aimed to harm the fallen adversary in a more traditional sense, Jonathan's battle cry extended in to a repeated ora, until he could punch no more, or she stopped him.

 

[Lord of Kaos]

I question the legitimacy of Ian's first counter. In fact, this couldn't be executable how it is described with the spacing and time to do so without breaking timeframe or taking a hit; Rexii attacks with a punch at no more than a meter away while you jump up and spin to kick the Fist. At this point, I believe you'd have been punched by him given the distance, his momentum, your evened speeds and the time it would taken to jump and spin vs continuing a punch. Your second counter is just as weird for the use of the first tech: when rexii uses your momentum to spin and deliver an attack, you somehow land and duck before his hit can land in your close up positions. Iffy, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt here. Yous then drop into a split before kicking him into the air. He counters with a kick to your own kick after finishing his spin. The next set of moves were a bout of defensive combos aimed to simply deflect the other attacks and match them. However in the set after that, Ian jumps up and uses a technique from above to counter. However, much like Wind Stream, you need to already be airborne. The technique doesn't allow for you to jump up and use it, so this counter wouldnt actually work. After this, it's a slew of good moves with small issues like this. Not a hard fight to judge or decide, Rexii advances to the next round.
