NV Decapitation

There are 3 times in Naruto when a head is taken off. Gato's, Hidan's and 'Kisame' I am going to analyze the decapitation of Gato and Hidan.

Gato is not ninja, he is a weak man with no fighting ability. He was right next to a man with shark teeth who was trying to kill him. Gato had absolutely no chance against Zabuza, he could not even move against the guy.


Scenario 2:

• Hidan cannot move
• A long chakra blade is used

Later we see with just being able to move you can escape getting your head cut off even by a blade.

Just moving the head a little allows for an escape against decapitation even against a blade much longer than a kunai.

Decapitation is only ever going to logically happen when you have a way to subdue an opponent and then you have something longer than a kunai.


Kunai decapitation GG is the most ridiculous claim ever used in the VS section. Anyone who uses that claim cannot actually construct an argument as to why one character beats the other.

I know why you made the thread so i am getting down straight to the point:

If the speed difference between 2 characters is too high (for ex. Gai and Tsunade) character simply can not move away. Hidan can move away from Shikamaru because he is faster and has better reactions. But if a character can not even react a type of speed, let alone move away how is s/he avoiding decapitation?

Kunai are supposed to thrown at..also can be used to slit throat but as you said must have some way to subdue an opponent. I have never heard of Kunai decapitation gg argument yet. Which character said to be able do that?

Hitting a vital area around head will still take the life of the opponent

Reaction/reflexes/sensing of the opponent should be superior in order to avoid at a short distance .​

At least it makes sense seeing how Sasuke is skilled in kenjustu and has a sword.

Nobody said right of the battle (or atleast i did not). It may be done after the intel of the opponent's regen power obtained.

Umm yes obviously you need to be fast enough to get the full strike or use something else, if you can do that then you can cut the head away, no need for more enhancements like asuma

Apparently cutting off heads is no longer appealing to kishi as much as blowing moutains

The neck has jugular vein and windpipe. One slash means excessive blood loss or choking. The opponent will be knocked out even if the dont die. No oxygen = unconscious

I vaguely remember someone once saying that a regular kunai cannot cut through bones, that clearly isnt the case and a little more muscle wont stop the kunai
