I'm going to be getting the game tomorrow so I wanted to gain some knowledge regarding the game itself.

1. Who are the best characters in the game from your experience in multiplayer?

2. Any thing I should be aware of before entering the game?

Hmm, I was told that Rinnegan Tobi was a mid-tier character in Storm 3. Thanks, I'll test him out once I get the game.

Roushi AKA 4 Tail JIN (My 2nd Fav)
Danzo (He is DOPE)
Naruto (Chakra Mode Naruto Awakning)
Madara
Edo Itachi
EMS Sasuke
Mifune..
Yugito AKA 2tail Jin...

Honestly pretty much all the new characters
Minato has a new move set (In the new minato)

and things you should know...

Insta-Awaken: You dont have to wait to be half dead to use your awaken for most people.. E.G: Naruto Chakra Mode, Guy/Lee EIG Mode, Chouji ButterFLy Mode, Etc.

Hanzo is a beast, just started online today, so far 4-0. Of course that's gonna change, but thing is about Hanzo is that his combos are fluid, so they're easy to connect from what I've noticed.

theres only three combos in this game
and rinnegan tobi ems sasuke madara naruto etc. are not as OP as everyone says there just as strong as other charactars battle game wise its just their movesets are cooler
everyone in the game is equal tbh and it can sometimes be complicated having to worry about all the specials to do like group attack(i still dont kno how that works completely) and alot of other stuff

Just be prepared for limitless spam if you play online, especially when it comes to instant awakenings.

im going to tell you this cheap characters are madara, EMS sasuke, tobi (war outfit). there are alot of spammers the spam the shit out of you in the game now they use fuu, and mifune (watch out for this one) other then that the game is a kinda the same to generations but its fun as hell on and watch out for itachis amaterasu man does that bitch ever fallow you
