WARNING Don't read if you haven;t read the latest chapter

Strange I wouldn't have though Kishi would have included Catholic nuns and priests into his manga (seeing as they as of the latest manga raised and named Kabuto)

though I guess there where missionarys in japan once upon a time

which also as a mini prediction will end up with this covanent burned down and everyone slaughtered (which I think sort of happened in Japan at one point though I may be wrong on that one)
and Kabuto will once again be alone and then found and raised by the leaf

what do you guys/gals think (on the prediction part)

yeah it'd be a big FU to a decent size part of his fan base

Kishi: Im gonna bring in a real world religion into my manga and then some guys are gonna wreck there stuff (just like we did once upon a time xd )

he would definatly be getting hate mail (and not really from the fans)

Actually, nuns aren't inherently catholic.Althought they have been call many different names, women who act in a similar manner to monks have been around in many different buddhist cultures throughout asia for centuries.

Reminds me of what happened to Princess Schala's double from Chrono Cross.

Those are no Catholic nuns. Yes they are most likely based on them, however mangawise they are not. If they truly would be Catholic nuns, both the building as them would look differently. There are no references to them being Christians or anything.

The principle of having nuns/orphanage/Christian schools etc. is a very recurrent theme in a lot of manga's. I don't know exactly why that is, but it pops up from time to time. It's not odd, it's something a lot of mangaka's use.

Who cares...just go back to Naruto already. You want the next chapter to be about how the monastery gets burnt down?

Could be as you have said.. His parents being a Nun Medical Ninja is quite unexpected. I thought that they were just Medical Ninjas..
