[Question] Numbers vs Lives?

Which is better:
- to have a specific number of lives, such that every time you die, you respawn in the immediate area where you died or at home
- to have a specific number of you, such that there are more than one of you in your life, which means your opponent must kill all versions of you in order to end your existence

Let's go with the number 5

Would most characters be better off with 5 lives or 5 multiples of them? Or does it depend on the character?

Which ones are better with numbers and which ones are better with lives? (Consider among the likes of Akatsuki, Kage, Jinchuriki and Samurai)

Lets settle this once and for all! What say you?

 

[Nidaime Suiton]

5 multiples :
- Orochimaru (it is already the case with the cursed mark)
- Obito (Uncatchable for most characters due to Kamui, can change his positions everytime)
- Minato and Tobirama ( are uncatchable for most characters due to Hiraishin, can change their position everytime, and they are very good sensor so they can already feel any threat toward them)
- Madara and Hashirama ( so overpowerful that even to kill one is very difficult, with just some Kage Bunshin Madara soloed the 5 Kage )
- Hidan ( already immortal, so 5 Hidan...)
- Onoki and Mu ( 5 Jinton user at the same time, which is great).

5 lives :
- Deidara (can spam his C4 jutsu)
- Kakuzu (To beat him you need to destroy 5 heart, so with 5 lives you must destroy 25 Kakuzu's heart)

5 multiples :

Regarding your multiples, isn't it reversed?

For Hidan and Obito, how do multiples help when they're already so difficult to kill? Isnt it a case where if someone can kill them (like, Konan and Suigetsu) they can kill all 5 at once. Especially for Obito who has a time limit, isnt it hetter to have more lives so that the time limit is extended?
