It's a disgusting story, but I'm sure it's not the only time something like that happened. Thanks to the one child policy, a lot of parents kill any daughters they have because they want a boy. With the result that there are now too many men in comparison with the amount of women. Which results in women being kidnapped to serve as a bride.

So sad u also deserve a rep+++ for letting ppl now here...

I already knew about the Chinese 1 child policy, I dislike it because like you said, the girls are most likely to be killed, abandon which I already read that it's bad because there having issues with the population of girls being dropped and such.
So they kidnap girls from other places because the guys don't have enough girls in some villages to be with or marry.
I find it sad and stupid how their still a country who believes being male is better than being female. I'm a pro-choice person but in this case is where I oppose abortion..because there doing it just because the baby is a girl.​

Males are seen as stronger and smarter. In poorer parts they're used for work even if they're children. They also carry on the family name, and richer families want boys to take over the fathers business.
