A nue (鵺) is a legendary creature found in Japanese folklore. It is described as having the head of a monkey, the body of a raccoon dog (tanuki), the legs of a tiger, and a snake for a tail. According to the legend, a nue can transform into a black cloud and fly. Due to its appearance, it is sometimes referred to as a Japanese chimera. Nue are supposed to be bringers of misfortune and illness.

Since mythology exists in Naruto in the form of chakra, Dojutsu, and things unrelated to the actual 'beings' existing, I'm thinking someone made this thing. If it turns out to be an actual monster.

I'm actually glad it isn't an Otsutsuki either.

I just hope they give an explanation on its chakra. I don't think the next generation have the skills necessary to fight something like that @ just-starting academy level. Maybe Gaiden level if they all work together.
