Nuclear Russian planes fly over Europe, without any warning. WW3 could be near.

Why can't Russia expand within its gigantic land.

If war breaks out, I'm leaving to another country before they close the borders, I have double nationality and residency in another.

Russia is not going to go to war with the U.S.

This is, basically, Russia being Russia. The culture embraces the idea of a somewhat boastful 'strong man.' You remember how Putin had his picture taken to portray him as being uber macho?

Same deal.

Russian fighters used to fly up next to our aircraft all the time during the Cold War. They'd even do such crazy shit as activate their tracking radars (considered an act of war, legally) and light up our aircraft as if they were going to launch a missile at them.

It's a sort of staring contest - try to make the other guy blink first.

And, certainly, you can't land back at the base without being able to tell your buddies: "Yeah, I totally could have blown those Americans away."

Russia just wants the rest of the world to know that they are back on the scene and not to be ignored. Putin wants the Russian people to think that they will succeed by following his policies and portrays himself as a strong man in internal propaganda.

There is a lot more that is done by Russia around the globe for the sake of internal propaganda than many people realize.

The lie that Crimea 'liberated itself' with 'militia' units? Not meant for us. It was meant to give Russians back home the belief that states within the old USSR are desiring a return to being under Russian influence/guidance - that they regret leaving Russia and/or that the leadership that wants to be separate from Russia is doing so because they are corrupt.

It wasn't meant to fool us.

In this regard - I think we misinterpret a lot of what Russia does.

While I am no fan of Putin or his tactics - I do not believe Russia is really our enemy or requires us to get involved in their affairs. If anything - our saber rattling over Ukraine is doing as much to escalate the issue as anything else. If push comes to shove - I believe Putin will commit to a war over Ukraine if simply so as not to appear weak - even if he realizes it is a costly decision.

It's a conflict that won't end through foreign intervention. Even Putin recognizes this. It's a war, essentially, between neighbors. Some want to be part of Russia. Others want to be part of Ukraine. Putin is under pressure from Russia to protect the Russians living in/around Ukraine while the West is trying to pressure Russia to respect Ukraine's decision to be independent.

It's essentially a Kosovo-esque conflict.

The last thing they need is a bunch of idiots preaching peace and holding meetings where the decisions will never be followed by the people who see fit to shoot their neighbors.

Short of sending in the armies to lay down a sort of martial law - there exists little 'external' solution to the problem (just as all of our peace talks never did a damned thing for Sarajevo). Of course - that isn't a solution because the Russians will see our 'martial law' as being biased against the Russians who want to be part of Russia - and we see a Russian military solution as the same thing.

But I digress.

I think it is great that Russia can afford to fly their bombers once again. We could use a few more bomb trucks over the skies of Syria.

If a war breaks out it affects everyone. National armed forces will start recruiting young people forcibly. There will be blackouts like you have never seen. The social order collapses, robbery, rapes, killings become rampant in all of the country, since no one is covering smaller issues like this. The world becomes a jungle where only those who can use a weapon freely and mercilessly survive.
Smaller nations take advantage of bigger nations being in turmoil to launch attacks on neighbours and take over the land that was disputed. Large number of people start migrating towards the more peacefull regions of the world. People have no rights in a war torn world. Human rights are nothing but joke. There is large amount of food scarcity.
The only plus point of a war at this point will be the fact that someone will trigger the Nuclear switch and the world will witness destruction like never before, making sure peace is restored.

There's a report from the Europian Leadership Network, in PDF form, Titled "Dangerous Brinkmanship" that has details of almost 40 cases of this kind of behavior from Russia.

Mikhail Gorbachev has also stated a while that we may be on a brink of a Cold War, but most of the members from the EU and G20 have been very vocal against their actions. The Canadian PM has already told him to get out of Ukraine, but Putin's pretty stubborn, I doubt he would. The current G20 in Brisbane, he's sitting on a hot seat.

A war may start, but it definitely won't go nuclear. It won't go nuclear for the very same reason the cold war didn't go nuclear.

Russian is a sneaky country, whit heavy pride, as well as high Standards. A Country close to China could only mean, either you're with them or not. Russia will never go to war whit a country as powerful as the US, if they suspect china will take a advantage & infiltrate Russia. This is the problem that appears whit two powerful country that are closet to each other have a complicated history.

That being said. Russia may have spoken whit Xi Jinping about the Scenario on Topic & by the looks of Russia actions, they must feel very comfortable flying nuclear planes over many country's. If you think about it. This could've of escalated really Fast and really dangerous.

Whit This two county's always arguing whit each other, really make it look like the war is inevitably going to happen. When is the real question. Russia recent act, will cost them heavily, when it comes to support form forging countries's.

Alliance

USA
France
Unity Kingdom
Italy
Canada
Mexico
Finland - ( maybe, if they do, they will get it the worst no joke )
This are some country from the top of my head that will help the USA. (IMO) I know I miss some but am in a rush right now. Will be back soon.
