How do you guys feel? I'm so excited for it. I was disapointed at first cause I thought zaraki was cool cause he didn't even need it, but it has to be awesome and now I can't wait.
What do you guys think? Any predictions?

True he isn't going bankai yet, but I'm sure they'll show it. I hope so at least

Pretty sure it's only his Shikai as Quincy can still steal Bankai so giving or using one that's not hollowed out is pointless.

Just to let you know, this is not confirmed as a bankai. They typically say bankai before hand. So this would be more like a Shikai. Meaning he' finally using the power of the sword that's always stuck in Shikai.

Nozrashi translates roughly to "A weathered field of bones/skulls."



Personally, I could care less. Unohana was such an interesting character, and it rubbed me the wrong way how pitifully Oda trolled her. She goes the whole series being hyped, only to get shafted by not being C.Commander, then the Zero squad shows up, then she can't even be stronger than Zaraki in his childhood. She got about 4 chapters of her being trolled, and even then her full power was never fully watched. A waste.

But that sounds really cool. I can only imagine what that's going to translate to on the battle field.
And I couldn't agree more man I was so mad they killed Unohana like that. She was such a mysterious character and she had such a cool story. It was a real waste of a character to kill her off like that. I got she gets some filler at least.
But I actually agree with Shunsui as CC. He's like my favorite character so I'm a little biased but he fills the position well. I don't deny though that unohana would be my next choice. Her love for the commander and the soul society makes her a great commander.

Well with C.C. it was explained only after they reveal who Unohana is. I mean up until then there's no reason she wasn't chosen. Though one may argue the idea that she may be too gentle (though that ended up being far from right). My choice would have gone Unohana > Shunsui > Jushiro.

Its Shunsui's ability to make tough calls, and keep a level head that earns him the spot. Which Unohana would have had if she wasn't the S.S.'s most heinous historical criminal. The worst part is during the interview, Kubo goes, "Unohana will finally step into the battlefield and face the enemy." Yeah... not exactly :l. I loved her fighting. She was just quiet and went at it. So graceful and elegant. She only really had two scenes where she looked like a Psychopath... only one being in battle. That passive look in her eyes was so much win.

Hahaha I've been on OPB a lot today. I usually only mess up Kishi and Oda. Looks like Kubo finally got his turn.




My guess is that it either operates similar to Zanka no Tachi: South, or allows him to do something like call forth the power from people he's killed. Maybe their pure power. Maybe their skills and experience (which if he got that he'd be REDICULOUS given he just got Unohana).
