This chapter explains why Hashirama's DNA is so important, it gives the power of the Wood Release and the Ten Tails is a giant tree.

Does anyone else smell a connection between the Wood Release and the Juubi.

A bit of irony there.

It would also explain why Hashi's DNA gives these magic powerups to all Ninjutsu if his Wood Release was connected to the Ten Tails.

This also explains why it drains Tailed Beast chakra, it is part of the tree taking back the power of the Tailed Beasts.

Too lazy to go deeper than the most superficial comprehension? Did the younger son inheret the wood release from the juubi that was sealed within his father? Could variations and dilutions of this wood release be the reason why the younger son and descendants had such strong bodies? Was it just Hashi that managed to awaken the full wood release instead of a diluted part of the power? etc
