Now the manga is some type of soap opera?

You know with family/love drama instead of ninja theme? Or atleast these soapy will be more dominant than ninja-ing around?

Even there were small theories and hints on Naruto's family it was never the central point of manga bar one arc. At first chapter the main themes like hokage, village, being ninja, fighting, discrimination, demon fox etc. were given and these concept stood prevelant in whole manga for the most part. In Naruto gaiden ch1 we saw Sarada's family concerns, Karin, Sakura all that drama stuff. Also fatherhood concept from other kids. Only first page was about being a ninja.

Even plot devices are so much like soap opera, the photo frame cracks and the rest of photo reveals itself. Because a human can not cut a photo or use another photo; no just uses the picture which has another person who she needs to hide the existence of.

So will manga be that way? Would you enjoy it? Or the plot can have a different turn?

I wonder if he enjoys writing such thing. If i think i suck at something and do not focus on it i probably do not like it to begin with. That goes for most people.

It is even too explict for a manga which is read by kids. This type of twisted families are worse than nudity or sexual implications.

Well, someone said these would be "slice of life" mini series so I actually sort of expected it. Didn't think he'd address the Karin thing so directly though.

I have this weird thing where I don't care enough to dislike it, but I feel like I can still enjoy it as long as it has more lighthearted stuff than drama.

There were enjoyable stuff my favorite part of chapter was Sai teaching his child his techniques and Inojin adressing his style as old fashioned. Would be soo cool if Inojin has surrealist/cubic artstyle unlike Sai's old art style inspired by Japan's historical art styles. Maybe some newer Japanese art style, but i am too unfamiliar with what they do now. Probably there are like 6 people in whole fandom interested in this though.

It might get better, it's just the first chapter. I doubt he'll waste time with actual serious drama, another problem is that he might end up approaching this touchy subject with excess lightheartedness... Oh, well, let's not jump to conclusions yet :|

Yeah, I had the same thoughts about Inojin. And call me easily amused (heck, I am), but Chocho's chips comment was funny to me.
