well i havnt been keeping up wid manga and a few threads said itachi broke free of edo tensei bcoz of kotoamatsukami.. so does this mean that he is invincible. bcoz if he is why didnt kishi give that power to madara and make him a constant threat!!

Well, Itachi will stop Edo tensei or at least Kabuto for sure. After that, he might as well disappear. But seeing Kabuto couldn't undo once Itachi was out of his control, I think he will most likely live forever or disappear like Sasori did.

Nice point though. Madara free from Kabuto would be much more epic. May be Kabuto will do something that will make Madara free from him. This is most likely to happen. But we will have to wait and see..

He's not invincible. His weakness is the same as all the other Edos. If he gets sealed he's dead, if Edo tensei ends then Itachi will disappear. He didn't break free of Edo Tensei, he broke out of Kabuto's control.

The reason why Kishi didn't give it to Madara is probably because Madara might find his own way to break out of Kabuto's control. Maybe after he's done toying with the Kages. I want to see more from Madara, instead of him just being under Kabuto's control.

i think when itachi will finish with kabuto..rather..if he finishes with kabuto and remain alive-dead. then my guess is after he finishes chatting with sasuke he will ASK to get sealed away or just disappear while chatting with sasuke
