What kind of life do you think he will have now? Lee was almost forced to stop training because of a few injuries from gaara, and guy just shattered multiple bones in his body. I'm hoping whatever naruto did will also fix the bones, but what do you guys think?

We still don't know if he will live.
It seems as though he will and will make a full recovery in time.

Gai will die, Naruto just held it off for a while. So fodderten and Lee can say their goodbyes

There is no way Kishi can allow him to get back in the fight, though I think he will live.

If Gai can make a full recovery in time for the battle because of Naruto's healing, then they are the most unbeatable team in the manga.

Gai launches attacks at the cost of his life, while Naruto heals and prevents death. Madara wouldn't even be able to keep up after a few rounds.

If you look at it another way, the title says Guy was giving up his youth, not his life. For someone who preached about eternal youth and did crazy exercise daily, to be permanently unable to do anything is just as tragic as death for someone like Guy. He gave up his youthful spirit to save his loved ones, and he cherished youth more than anyone besides Lee.
