[Discussion] now sauke has been discarded from candidate for hokage

Today chapter lots of flash had lot of flash backs but in end was good chapter enjoyed reading.

conclusions from today's chapter 649 :

1. At last the sasuke and shikamaru both were played down as contenders for hokage.
Sasuke fans might get irritated with this but , this chapter showed why naruto is a candidate for hokage , and shikamaru will be his right hand.

Naruto has earned his respect from all the shinobi alliance and even raikage considers him as candidate for hokage.
Gaara already apperciated him . with backing of more that 3 kage he is surely a candidate for hokage .

While sasuke has done nothing to prove his worth , but has all quality for becoimg second madara or danzo

2. It was proved sakura has not surpassed tsunade and not has upgraded her status from being completely useless to partially useless .

3. Kiba has now reached new heights of stupidness ,

You don't understand. Sasuke was never going to be Hokage. What was important was WHY he wanted to become Hokage. He wants to be Hokage because he feels this world is messed up and someone needs to fix it. It shows he cares about the world but He doesn't agree with Naruto's ideal that love and understanding will fix it.
Sasuke will not become like Danzo because he knows more than anyone the evil of what Danzo did. TObirama never said Sasuke would be like Madara, he said Sasuke will eventually surpass Madara in skill and power.

About Sasuke: They doesn't respect his leadership they respect his strength so he can never be kage.

Power and leadership are two different things. Naruto has power and earned respect i.e earned leadership.
Sasuke has done to much and he cant come back, you cant go from killing kages and threatened villages to becoming kage

Hes top two ninja of the newschool thats gonna have to be enough for him.
