Now it makes Sense why Obito or Kakash did NOT use Kamui against Nagato.

Hello guys. After analyzing exactly how both close-range and long-range variations of Kamui work now I get finally while neither Obito or Kakashi was trying to use Kamui against Nagato when he was alive. The answer is simply Preta Path of The Rinnegan can cancel Kamui technique if executed when Space Barrier is created by kamui which envelopes around the target to drawn him inside black hole(it's center) or bring something outside.

1) Kakashi's case - Kakashi in Pain arc was still not well expierienced with Kamui technique. He also has poor use of Kamui at that time. It could takes more then enough time for Kakashi to envelopes Nagato or Preta Path with space barrier until he would get drawn inside centre of this barrier. Preta path could easlily cancel it in time or Shinra tensei of Deva path could interrupt it in time. Of course now Kakashi can execute Kamui much faster almost in no-time but if Rinnegan user could react in time then this method could stil work

2) Obito's case- close-range Kamui technique could be ineffective against Nagato as he would use Preta Path very fast enough to cancel Obito's Kamui as Space barrier get drained of chakra cause it to disappear and cancel Kamui technique itself.

Kakashi did use kamui on pein twice, he only uses it in an emergency situation.

Don't even think about saying Obito, because Obito ruled Akatsuki with kamui alone.

Obito had kamui, mokuton, rikudou no Justu, and Inyouton

^^All of these are in his arsenal

Obito shouldn't be compared are attempted to be flawed against his fodders

There is no "space time barrier". Space is litterally just stretched. There is no energy or chakra involved.

Well, yes of course. Space time barrier is stll some kind of barrier and so far from the manga we know that every barrier requires chakra to be used.
Preta paths can NOT absorb Barrier ITSELF , so you may get me wrong.

Preta path absorbs just CHAKRA USED AND BEING NEEDED FOR BARRIER TO STAYS, if this necessary chakra get absorbed then barrier disappear on its own as it could lack source for its existence. Same case with kamui, Preta path can NOT absorb space time barrier but CAN absorb chakra needed for barrier to work.

Only Hirashin could be exception as so far it was not specified if any barrier is formef for it to work. However i believe the marks itself which work as anchors for user to know where to go are FILLED WITH CHAKRA. If I am right then preta path could also counter hirashin but rg user would have to pinpoint locations of marks beforehand and absorb chakra from them before ftg user appear and finish him.

Well that is all true and cool stuff, but some things dont fit here:

1) I only mentioned about kamui being possible countered Wood release has nothing common with this thread, so has izanagi or other stuff

2) It is not vs threads but possible explanation about why cases
