Novel adaptations (may contain spoilers)

I just read the itachi novels which were, incredible. I was initially thinking the shikamaru novel would be my favorite hands down at this point, but they did a phenomenal job with describing his emotions throughout the material and I found myself more intrigued than I expected despite it being material I already knew.

My question is first, why the hell did they change so much amazing material? From the way Danzo and his aid fought shisui, to how itachi killed his girlfriend. Her death was probably the most moving part besides him killing his family. I don't get it.

2nd, at this point it worries me that they'll mess up the rest of the novel material. I haven't been able to read sasukes' story, I wonder how much they've removed there too. Anyone read the novel first?

That's just SP being SP. They changed quite a few things in the Sasuke shinden novels as well.

Is it accurate to the Itachi shinden episodes?

Yeah it is but there's way more diving into his thoughts and you see a different angle to his relationship with his father and the other Uchiha as well. As you'd expect from a book, but there's details they shouldn't have changed but did

But Sasuke shinden is still great!!

Does it show any of the what is called a 'relationship' between Sasuke and Sakura? Or the making of Sarada?

Not this book, sasukes you mean?? Not too sure. I know Sakuras book does not
