[Suggestion] notifications and fonts upgrade

Dear NB STAFFS,
my aim is to make a suggestion on NOTIFICATIONS AND FONTS.
1) NOTIFICATION;i m suggesting that, any anouncement made by you NB staffs should be included to our notifications so this way, every member can get the information/announcement.why i said this is because some time when the announcement is being given some that are offline do not get it when they come online cause they do not know what happened here on NB when they where offline and some by the time they get the announcent,maybe it already too late.
Also, these will help new members that are not that use to the site to get the annoucement in time. an annoucement, is a very important piece of information that most or evey one should be notified of so i think where the annoucement section is placed is too far from NB members by this i do not mean the whole section but the information being passed on. we have hottest threads bar,popular threads bar all looking at us when ever we login to NB an annoucement is an important as those bars on the site's homepage so i m suggest it should be included in our notifications.
2)FONTS; i m suggesting that, new font be included to our coustomize profile settings to enable us change our write up styles/profle content text style this fonts could also help beautify our profile.plz i will be gradful if the new fonts are ones that even a low or poor sighted person can read when applied to a text.

the first one i agree with itd be nice to get a notification when a mod or admin comments on one of our threads,but sadly i doubt it sounds like alot of effort to organise

second no fonts are just fine

but even if they ain't fine they re nomally included in almost any writing aids on sites,computer system/softwares e.g microsoft office.and the fonts suggestion was just for our profile alone..

I can agree with the notification about the announcements to some extent, but I'm not sure if it's possible.

About the fonts, I don't think that's a good idea. More fonts = more loading times. Also, a lot of fonts are not really suited for the web. There are rules for fonts, and to be honest, the fonts we have are the most easy ones to read (most of them, not all of them). You can change your profile and customize it perfectly without adding new fonts. Else, we wouldn't have a profile of the week/month (not sure which it is) winner with every contest.

I agree with the Notification suggestion!

And I think I have suggestion to the font one, instead of putting more fonts which would make the forum slower, we could have a sub forum that possess all HTML related stuff, colors, fonts and whatnot.

You can change the font to whatever you want although there's no guarantee that those that are viewing your post is looking at the same font as you are. If the audience have the same font as you do installed onto their computer, they will be seeing what you see.

1. This font is Calibri.
2. This font is AR CHRISTY.
3. This font is Vijaya.

The above should look like the following image but I don't think you have the 2nd and 3rd font installed so you won't be seeing what I would.
