And who is going to give up? I don't see anyone of them doing it anytime soon, I'm under the impression that we're going to see some sort of troll death by Kishi, it's really complicated though.
It could be awesome if Konoha select both of them for Hokage, so the problem should be solved once and for all Lol,
I don't really see how they just gonna fight just for the good old days.

I think they both mean business no doubt, but they aren't enemies anymore, just rivals. If Kishimoto kills anyone it should be if they are bad. Having Sasuke good then killed for wanting to better Konoha would be so depressing. He deserves a chance to live free of all Itachi put him through.

If the cycle is meant to be broken, I could see both ruling together in a way. I am sure it'll be a happy ending since Team 7 has suffered so much for so long, but I will be very upset if Sasuke dies without a good reason.
