The universe exists because it does.
2 + 2 = 4 because it does.
The universe is the same, math has no hidden purpose, it is a way of universally interpreting and understanding the occurrences of the universe in a multitude of ways.
Nothing is random, true, but the mathematical concept of random doesn't imply it literally, it refers to the fact that we don't have the tools and information to 100% accurately use numbers to determine the out come so we instead give a list of presumed possibilities in which the number will almost always fall under.

everything in this life has a 'purpose' that is what science tells us everyday.
What existed before the big bang, was not 'nothingness' if it were that would be a contradiction to everything
in this life. people there is no such thing as random neither are you or me, but if you want to believe that's the
case i respect your opinion. Everything is math and math proves everything in this world and not to mention that math
is not random.

Purpose is something one creates themselves, if you think for a moment, everything will be worthless without a purpose and nothing to exist for .

New theories suggests universe endlessly expands and contracts, one time it expands then at one point it begins to contract then expands again and it happens endlessly as a cycle .

Here a link, if you're interested more about it

and I've a question for you, can you prove that universe exists through maths ?

Math is the language of the universe.

The big bang was an event, but not necessarily the first.

This is where people fail to understand the big bang.

The idea that nothing could create something just boggles the mind.

However it is (as far a science knows) true.

Scientist does not tell use everything has a "purpose"

It tells how things operate and function.

Completely different.

Religion (depending on which one) is the one that tries to reinforce the notion that evrything has a purpose

When did science say that everything had a purpose? Purpose is an idea created in the human imagination. It can't be rationalized unless it's applied to a function which serves as means to end to an observer.

Math is the language of madmen and nature. Successful determining the math behind a natural occurrence can prove to be genius. The search for random numbers is madness and foolish.

Nothing lasts forever (impermanence) because it's in a constant state trying to fulfill itself (emptiness) but can never be done. Everything acts and reacts to another and is intertwined and interdependent.

"Purpose" is a human concept and therefor flawed. Scientists don't claim there was nothingness before the big bang but a singularity. See it so that science can't see beyond such a state.

To know nothing is to know brahma *takes bite off bamboo stalk*
