This dude Shikamaru literally says that if someone leaves the village because they hate the shinobi system, that they're traitors and need to be killed on sight.

Did Obito, Sasuke, and Madara not stress the sheer amount of imperfections in the shinobi world enough? I don't get why the new generation that pretty much had a "Great Value War" from Walmart, aren't taking the words of people like Obito and Madara seriously who had to grow up in real war.

I keep hearing this stuff about how Itachi grew up in war and saw it's horrors, but Obito lived for years upon years in war, and so did Madara and yet their reasoning is just thrown out of the window. WTF Kishimoto, can you throw us Uchiha sympathizers even one bone?

It could be the new beginning of a war-free generation; but the shinobi world still has a lot to deal with before it springs free from all of that. Consider how long it took for the system of America to completely change to fit everyone after all the slavery and racism
