It's the last chapter of the Naruto manga-series. After almost 15 years since Naruto and Sasuke's fight, all is well in Konoha and a new town prankster, Boruto, son of Hinata and Naruto is out to catch the heart of the manga's followers. Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto finally concludes the endearing ninja-saga.
The plot of the movie starts a decade and a half after the exciting and much awaited face-off of rival Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto won the fight and Sasuke received pardon for all his sins, thanks to the new Hokage Kakashi. Unfortunately, Sasuke chose a life outside of Konoha and lived a life together with Sakura far from the outskirts of the city.
Several offspring of Naruto's gang will be introduced in the movie. Naruto and Hinata has a daughter and a son named Boruto, or Bolt to his friends. He's just like his father, a prankster and an easy-go-lucky Genin trainee. Sasada, Sasuke and Sakura's daughter will despise his behaviors but will most likely fall in love with his antics.
Shikamaru is now married to Temari and has a son named Shikadai. The two, Bolt and Skikadai are considered as the rowdy kids in Konoha causing troubles and playfulness in town.
Kakashi is now the Hokage of Konoha but has finally decided to quit. He'll be consulting an old friend, Gai, now in a wheelchair. Kakashi explains how he wants to explore the world on his own. They spend time talking in Oonoki's home since Gai can't move that much anymore.
Kiba, Akamaru, Ino, Sai, Choji, Karui are now part of the Lightning Nation and are discussing about Kakashi's intentions to leave his posts. Tenten on the other hand owns a weapon shop in town, but complains that she is not earning too much since it's been quite peaceful for years.
Konohamaru, Naruto's follower is not a Jounin and looks after Naruto's son Bolt. Bolt will pull a stunt on the Hokage's mountain monuments, just like what his father did when he was his age. Naruto will relive the memory but will scold his son for doing so.
Gaara, Chijuro, Kurotsuchi and Darui are in town to attend a Kage meeting with Naruto. Naruto will be held as the 8th Hokage of Konoha in this movie.
Sasuke and Sakura will also return to Konoha in this last chapter. A new villain, a descendant of Kaguya and the sage of the Six Paths will try to bring the moon to Earth. A new power from Bolt is bound to save the day in this movie. Hopefully, fans can all get a glimpse of the 64th Palm Rasengan technique.
Boruto: Naruto the Movie is scheduled to be released on cinemas this August 2015 under Studio Pierrot.
