I get what you're saying. Even if I'm a naruto hardcore fan, something is missing indeed. I believe though that the reason you feel liket hat is because Kaguya hasn't really shown much of her personality. To tell you the truth she looks more like she's controlled fro Black Zetsu. Also, this chapter had slow-pace but trust me when in the following chapters, the pace speeds up, then you will like it more.

I don't know, the "vibe" I've been getting from the manga has changed a few times before, I'm still pretty okay with it. I'm not saying I have no problems with it (nothing is perfect), but overall I'm still feeling positive.
