[Spoilers] Not mad about the upcoming fillers.

Even though we all wanted the notorious "Filler Purgatory" to end, which lasted for almost an entire year since September of 2015, and having only two episodes of canon before going back to it, I am not mad about the upcoming episodes.

Finally I will at least get the answers to a series of particular questions that has been plaguing my mind ever since the manga's conclusion.

1. How did Kaguya arrive to Earth?
2. What happened to grand-grandfather Hamura Ōtsutsuki and the remainders of the clan to make them go to the Moon?
3. Who is the father of the Sage of Six Path and Hamura?

For so long I wanted to know the story of this particular clan (for obvious reasons), and maybe now the anime(for once in it's miserable existence) will serve some usefulness in answering that.

I get what you're saying, but it's not like the stuff Pierrot will show is canon. That's just their own take on it, done much more for the endless milking than an actual need to tell Kaguya's story.

In the end, Kaguya's past will still remain unknown.

Not like anyone else is expanding on it. People call it filler yet if kishi was opposed to it and the guy doing the current manga had a different background in mind SP would probably not do it at all. After all Kishi had to wrap everything up so quickly so that depends on someone's take on it. While it is filler, the definition of filler is to fill up plot holes or unanswered questions it's not like the games is about to do so. Never has there been a time when fillers contradicted what kishi originally designed if it did then there would be no reason to trust the anime, just my take it's as if people expect kishi to do it himself :th:

Though i hated the infinite Filleryomi but some filler actually good and interesting. As for kaguya i think it's necessary as we get less background of her in manga.

Until Kishi dismisses it as filler, it's canon since it doesn't contradict the manga.

Looks like at least 1 of these questions (maybe 2) is gonna be answered in next week's episode. From the looks of it, it seems to show how kaguya arrives to earth and then, we see a man, tenji who supposedly is kaguya's husband (that is not confirmed yet though).

As for the crybabies that are still mad about that, just be happy that we at least get more characterisation on kaguya. You know, the bland character that you all asked to know more of... Granted, it's done via "fillers" but for what we know, maybe kishi has a hand in this? Afterall, he did want to expand on her in the original manga but because of shonen jump telling him to rush the story to its end, he never really had a chance to do so. Thus, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a hand in it. And like it or not, if kishi supervises these fillers, they will be canon, no matter what you may say or not. It is not up to you to decide what is canon and what isn't
