Northern Outback

A rather simple and underdeveloped coastal area. The Northern Outback is populated by a few communities of fishermen, who roam the icy waters in specialized kayaks. A small port city sits in its western edge, where it is said ships from the West sometimes visit to trade exotic goods. The inland terrain of the area is characterized by rocky, uneven barrens covered in a thick blanket of snow and ice for most of the year.

Natsu Uchiha

The night was silent on the coast of the outback, the sounds of gentle waves hitting the shore, a full moon illuminated the water to give it a yellow glow that seemed to brighten up the night. Some clouds passed overhead, blocking the moonlight every now and then. On th western edge of the landmark sat a small port city where several boats now lay tied up for the night as the moon reached it's peak. The small fishing city quiet as everyone slept in a deep slumber of peace that they had known for years. Over the horizon to the north, a light mist began to form that carried over the water towards the village. As it passed other the ocean it seemed to be growing thicker, settling on the city, becoming denser and denser until you couldn't see. A feign orb could be seen where the moon shone bright above. It wasn't uncommon for there to be a mist from the ocean but this seemed... unnatural.

Within the mist a single boat sailed, drifting with the current, passing onto the sure with a lone cloaked figure within. Even through the thick mist, the individual knew where he was going. Moving silently, he stepped into the city. Where it sat on the edge of the know world, in such a cold climate, they never saw much hostility and so there was no need for guards. They had a small policing service within the town but that consisted of three men just for the sake of order. Stopping in the middle of the main street, the lone man stood and knew this was the place to begin what he was about to do. He could feel the very heat of the bodies of people who slept nearby, about 30 within 20m of his current location. Time for step one of his plan. With a single hand seal he released his chakra into the rooms where these people lay, drawing on one element that existed in almost everything: Carbon. This carbon would rise to the surface all around in small masses, silently taking form. Now it was time to put it to good use. With another seal he released the carbon causing it to react with the very air these people were breathing, surrounding them with carbon monoxide as they slept. Taking their deep breathes, unaware, they'd breathe in the poisonous gas, choking, suffocating and not being able to breathe, as they slowly died one by one. With his eyes he looked around seeing the life leaving their bodies until the very last one passed away, without a single person noticing.

"Now, time to see if this really works.... the power of the demons... the forbidden arts... lets see if the power to give life truly exists"

Now the figure stood, gathering a large amount of chakra, bringing his hands together as he focussed within the mist. This should be a lot easier due to them being fresh corpses, giving life back to them would be much easier than a rotten body. He pushed his own limits as he the chakra stored in his body reached a large point then he released it outwards to the 30 people he'd just slain holding the seal, releasing a portion of his chakra into each one, using the forbidden skills to give life back to those. He waited a few moments, before his eyes caught the first sign of moment. It was a small girl in a room just within the range of his slaughter. She sat up now from the bed she'd died in, and rose. He watched as she moved, it seemed she was going to a room further away in the house. Her parents room? In there were two figures. He saw her chakra signature reach them, then suddenly collide with one. A hug thinking it was all a bad dream? What had she seen on the other side, the underworld? No, something was different. The other chakra signature was trying to move away. He now noticed similar things happening all around as his sharingan caught the moments of people all around. Then, through the thick mist, cries echoed in the air. Fear, pain. What what going on. It was then that he realized what this technique had really done. A man came running out of one of the houses to the right, in his pijammas, blood soaked his right arm as he stumbled away in fear, falling to the ground. Swiftly behind him came a woman, though there was something wrong with her. She ran like a woman possessed, straight for the man on the ground like a tiger hunting it's prey, he screamed and begged her to stop "hunny, no please... nooo", but she pounce on his, mouth wide open ripping a chunk out of his neck as blood gushed out and the life left his eyes. She rose to her feet now. Taking one look at the man in the cloak, then turned away running off in another direction. Why hadn't she attacked him?

It was in this moment that the man in the cloak felt something, another small portion of his chakra was drained. The man before him rose to his feet, with the same ravenged look in his eyes of pure instinct. One thought came to the man's mind, Zombies. He once again looked at the cloaked figured but ran off in a different direction to the woman. But then he felt it again, small portions of his chakra were being taken a bit at a time. Screams filled the air, it was a night of pure horror. He saw people running from others, begging, he made his way through the town. The people, covered in blood and injuries with lifeless eyes, these hoards of zombies swept through the city, destroying everything in their path to get to their prey, anyone living. This was a massarce unlike any the figure had ever seen. Within an hour, the muffled screams of terror ended, dying out slowly as the last survivors must of either died or fled the hordes of zombies. Now looking up the cloaked man saw the hoard making the way to him, 100 of them in total in a slow moving hoard towards him. He held his ground. They marched until they were only a few meters away from him. Clenching his fist he stood ready to destroy them all. But they stopped, motionless in front of him. He couldn't believe it. What had gone on here? It was then that he realized what had truly happened....

"This... was me... my energy that was taken.... that jutsu the demons showed me... it wasn't life... this was pure death... how could i be so naive to think that anyone referring to themselves as a demon would be helpful... "

He stood there for a moment but then realized, they weren't attacking him. They stood waiting. It had been his chakra that had given them life, were they bound to him? Were these to be his eternal slaves? He needed to test this. He took a few steps forwards and the hoard of zombies parted. They were truly under his control. He hadn't done what he'd come here to do but he'd truly found something alot more useful. This small army would serve to do his bidding. He now turned back, walking south now, leaving the wasted city that was once a prominent fishing place and made his way south. He wanted to experiment with his new found dark powers. As he made his way out of the city the hordes of zombies followed him, passing out of the village, a truly horrifying sight to behold.

Unknown to the cloaked figure, in the midst of the chaos, there had been two that had escaped on horse back, heading south east towards another village in search of help or answers as what had happened back in their fishing village. They reached the new village at such a fast pace, moving with all haste out of fear and desperation, upon arriving there, they sounded the alarm asking to speak to the officials calling a town meeting. They explained how the mist had come then they heard screams, how people were acting weird, attacking others with tooth and claw, a scene from the worst kind of horror movie. The people of this new town were skeptical but seeing the blood on their faces and the pure terror look in their eyes, they decided to investigate their claims. They gathered a group of 15 men, who gathered the weapons from storage and made the way out of the gates of the walls that surrounded their town, the two men from the fishing village went with them to show them where to go. Little did they know, this would be the last time they ever left those gates.

Making their way through the land, it was a clear night for the most part, cold, but easy to see due to the moonlight. Making the journey on foot made it a longer one, but they didn't have enough horses ready for the entire group. Not only that but it wasn't like they were going to listen to claims of zombies now as it? As they made their way across, after about half an hour they saw something in the distance. It would seem a mist was crossing the land, emanating from the northern coast, it seemed everything they said wasn't a lie at least, but things like these were common in these parts, part of living near an ocean, you'd get all kinds of weather. As they made their way forwards, the mist slowly washed over them, getting thicker and thicker, making it all the more harder to see. They tried to stay together but it was hard enough trying to see a foot in front of them, never mind everyone in the group. Now and then it sounded like they could hear some movement from within the mist, but with how thick it was it was impossible to see what it was. Instead, they could tell where they were going thanks to the moon shining bright ahead like before. Though, the mist seemed strange, unusually thick.

As they approached the city in question on the northern edge, that's when it would all change for them. Due to some of the terrain being uneven, gaps were created in the group, making it hard for them to maintain coherency. Though they could just make out each other's silhouettes as a blur a few meters apart. One of the guys near the back was stepping over a large rock when he saw a sudden fast blur of movement to his left, the person next to him's silhouette was now gone, lost, all that he heard was a growl and a whimper. He stopped trying to look around, calling out his friends name but no answer. He pushed himself over the rock and began a small jog to catch up to the rest of the group, he was scared. Looking over his shoulder and around until he caught up, to the group, but before he even had chance to say anything a cry came out from the right side to the front. What was going on? The group was moving backwards now, torches held up, swinging them around trying to see what was going on. It was chaos, in pure panic they looked around frantically calling out to those that had gone but only silence answered, muffled sounds and groans were all that welcomed them.

It was hopeless, they held up their weapons but were taken one by one until only 5 remained, swept away into the mist to never be seen again, they screams being the last thing they ever did. As the last 5 stood with their backs to each other, grouped together trying to save themselves they noticed in horror as their feet felt wet. Raising one foot they would soon realize it was their comrades blood soaking the ground. As they stood ready to make their last stand, a lone figure in a black cloak walked through the mist towards them, his eyes shone read as he approached. Stopping in front of them they all looked at him not knowing what to say, but he would speak first.

"I'm glad i found you before they did, they seem to be hungry.... even i struggle to control them, and well... every death takes it's toll on my body... i'm sure you know what i mean.... oh... it seems they are coming, familiar faces... i guess i should act quick..."

In that moment, the lead man in the center made eye contact with the man in the cloak. All his memories flooded through his head as the man was being controlled, stepping forwards for the cloaked figure to place his hand on his head. His mind was being read, but he was being controlled by a force he couldn't fight. After a few moments the control was released as the cloaked figure stepped backwards from him.

"Ah, i see, you came to see what happened in the fishing city... well... not that it matters now... but i appreciate you showing me where to go... oh, it seems i'm out of time... it seems your comrades are hungry...."

They had so many questions, who was he, what was going on, why was he here, what had happened to the city, what had taken their allies, who was hungry? But it was too late. He faded back into the mist, but in his place, several figures appeared, familiar faces. their allies. They moved forwards. The group was so relieved and took a step towards them to embrace them, it was at the last minute they noticed. They lifeless eyes, the blood on their body, the way they moved... it couldn't be....

That was the last that was ever heard of that group....

And so the the terror spread throughout the landmark along. Preceded by a thick mist that spread across the land, horror followed, washing over each town, like water washing over the fire of life. The hoard of zombies slaughtered, they ate, but Natsu had to keep his numbers to 100, to control the hoard and so he didn't run out of chakra in the process. Town after down, the violent nightmare spread until all remained silent in the entire landmark. With that the terror would end... if only... the hoard headed south east... it would continue to feast until the world was no more...

[End of mission and leaving landmark]

Note: I know the zombie jutsu doesn't work in that manor, it bring bodies out of the ground. But for the purpose of the story it was more created to spread it like a zombie infection so i decided to roll with that rather than go to a graveyard and get some zombies.

Jutsu used:

( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.

(Kirigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding in Mist Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: D
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10
Damage: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

Rank: D-S D
Type: Attack/Defence
Range: short - long
Chakra Cost: 10-40
Damage Points: 20-80
Description: This is the basic application of carbon release where the user will gather carbon in the air, the ground or create it from their own chakra (spitting it out ect) to form structures of carbon. This can be anything from weapons, to walls, to spikes, domes, anything inanimate which they can use as projectiles as well. For example the user could create a kunai of carbon and launch it at their opponent. The larger the object, the higher the rank. For objects larger, than the user they will need to be A rank. To use the A rank version and higher, the user will need to perform 1 handseal. This can also be used to reshape current carbon the user controls which they can use to attack with again, in a similar way to earth release but on a unique level. Due to the control required, the user is not able to form microscopic carbon, the carbon they gather will be around the same size of a small pebble and so always visible to normal ninja. B rank and below carbon structures can be made with arm movements or a single handseal. A rank can only be used once per turn. S rank can be used 3 times per battle, with two turns in between uses and no carbon above B rank in following turn.

Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: short-long
Chakra Cost: 35
Damage Points: N/a
Description: The user will perform one handseal releasing chakra into carbon around the battle feild. This does not include carbon that is part of living things. The user will then release a wave of energy into the carbon to cause the carbon to react with oxygen in the air creating either carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide. This can be done on certain areas that the user chooses.

(Kinjutsu Doton Soseijutsu: Shishi Dojō) Forbidden Earth Resurrection Technique: Corpse Soil
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 5 per corpse (150) (-10 per turn) 5x100
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique is called the "ultimate earth-element resurrection technique" because it focuses upon using the earth itself as a medium to revive corpses. By utilising soil in the local ground, the user can revive the fallen present there in one of two ways. The first version allows the user to seemingly continuously resurrect a large number of slain people as zombies, but with none of their rationality, physical prowess, or techniques at their disposal. They are fairly easy to destroy, capable of enduring little more than Taijutsu and D-Rank Ninjutsu. The amount of zombies raised is directly proportional to the chakra spent to search through the ground and awaken the corpse's remains. Some corpses may not be in a perfect state, being deteriorated or decomposed, in which case, earth will form the missing areas into functional parts. If the technique is deactivated either by the user or if the user is killed, the zombies will immediately turn to dust. The second version allows the user to bring a person back as a perfect resurrection, able to use all their skills from when alive, with the addition of a preset directive the person is forced to obey despite being consciously aware. Unlike the Impure World Reincarnation technique, the soul is not bound to the body nor can the user completely overcome the targets personality. In this case, the user needs access to both a large amount of chakra as well as the fresh, preserved corpse of the target. The limitation of this technique is that, while with Impure World Reincarnation one can summon the pre-prepared revived ninjas at any time and how many times one needs by summoning them, with this technique, the user can only use it once and cannot prepare it beforehand. This means that the user will either need to bring a sealed corpse and perform the technique in the midst of battle or perform it in a fallen enemy who will then be used for as long as is necessary. Another difference is that the revived ninja is not immune to damage and will not regenerate if damaged though injury is not enough to stop it and the corpse will continue to work and function while it has some way to do so. At any time, by performing a Snake hand seal and snapping their fingers, the caster of this technique releases the resurrected targets, turning them into loose soil.
Note: The technique can only be used once.
Note: First version will produce how many corpses the user is willing to pay chakra for, all of which will last until destroyed.
Note: Second version can only be used in one corpse and requires access to a corpse which will not be usable anymore once the technique or the battle ends but that can last while chakra is fueled to sustain it or the technique is ended.
Note: In either cases, defeating the caster of the technique ends the technique.
Note: To use a corpse, the user must have sealed it in an official fight, approved by an RP Moderator, linking to which, upon reviving, is mandatory.

Chakra: 2000 - 30 - 10 - 10 - 500 = 1450
