Actually, what the OP has stated is a gross oversimplification. Neither side has officially declared war. North Korea has stated that it is in a state of war with South Korea, not the US. As an unnamed US official said, “Describing the situation as akin to war is not to be remotely confused with wanting a war, let alone going to war.”

Hopefully this is just another speech....Maybee if N. Korea tried to help its own people then maybee the UN wouldn't place sanctions on them...lives shouldn't be lost because of no desire to help one's own people, and war is only going to make it worse.
