Tobirama takes his lighter out of his ninja pouch as he is a frequent smoker [totes], and lights it before he throws it. He then focuses his Katon chakra on the flame combusting from the lighter and use shape manipulation to form a wall of flames around Tobirama.

Sorry this isn't so descriptive, but I find it hard to describe this one. .-.

From now on use this template.

PHP:
Perform the technique:
Creative uses/strengths:
Drawbacks/counters:
How to use the template and fill it out effectively. This will also help your career in RP but it is quite a read though I do expect you to read it and carefully at that. I will notice if you have or not, and failure to write out the template correctly will result in a re-do of the jutsu(s).

Performance
When it comes to the performing point of the template, its all about imagination but this one is considered the most obvious of the whole template. When the student performs something you need to paint a picture in the teachers head to give them a clear image of everything that is going on and how you are reacting or feeling about the jutsu. Each jutsu will give different feelings and reaction. It is your job simply to show me how and what you are feeling and what is going on when performing the jutsus.

The things I expect in the performance are two things that are most important when performing the jutsus. The first is called Nature Manipulation. Nature manipulation is when the user will manipulate or control their raw chakra to change in basic nature which is one of the five basic elements. Now most people like to simply say something like this:
I gather my chakra and nature manipulate it into lightning chakra.
Yes this is okay but where is the creativity or the respect of actually wanting to perform and feel the jutsu? Now to explain every basic element properly on how to manipulate chakra into nature with more imagination and creativity such examples like this would work.
With my raw chakra gathered I begin to take focus upon the chakra. I begin to think of the warmth of the very sun and the blazing heat it gives off, I condense the chakra and finally mold the chakras nature into fire.

After gathering my chakra, I begin to take full control over it. I sharpen the chakra having the precious sharpness that surpasses that of a sword. Successfully I mold the chakra into wind chakra.
Now this is pretty much the basis when it comes to nature manipulation on how I see fit and what is best to impress your teacher. Now if you are wondering about how should I explain all the natures, well think about their property. Lightning has high frequent vibration and electrical sharpness, fire is superheated and blazing warm, water is free-flowing and very flexible, earth is rough and versatile, wind is sharp and thin with great accuracy. To be able to explain them you simply have to free your mind and become as creative as you can.

Now I can understand some times you don't want to go that deep into the jutsu because some are more simple then others and I can understand that, all I ask is to try and not be lazy with it.

The second thing that is most important when performing a jutsu correctly is called Shape manipulation. Now this is when you take the chakra or the chakra nature and shape it into any form or shape it requires to be properly formed. Shapes include spheres, animals (All types), blades, ect. This is all about attention to detail, and how precious you want to be when trying to perform the jutsu. Now here is a regular example that is done usually.
I manipulate the shape of my chakra to form a bullet.
Though again, that is not exactly wrong but where is the fun and creativity in that? This is all about paying attention to detail and how much you want to focus up on it. Here are some other examples that are more suffice.
After gathering my lightning chakra, I lengthen its size and sharpen the edge of the chakra to create a spear of lightning.

As I gather my chakra and release it forward, I begin to shape it and make it round as well as smooth leaving no bumps to create a spherical ball of chakra.
This is pretty much all it takes nothing more or less. You do not need to go extreme but detail is always best not only for me as a teacher but when you get in the habit of making proper and creative replies it will follow you in battle and help you greatly their when the time comes.

Creative uses/strengths

Now we are getting to the important part of all this. Now with this template I expect two things each with a total amount of detail. What I mean is firstly I expect you to tell me the strengths of a certain jutsu, I don't care how it works. I want to know what makes it useful. Things like that can include the jutsu is able to move in all ranges giving it a large amount of mobility. Another is you can send multiple attacks with one jutsu to attack more then one opponent or trying to barrage the opponent with attacks to make evasion difficult. Yes this are quite the small strengths but stuff like this count in the eyes of a teacher and needs to be taken in account. Though those are just some small examples what you really need to do is look into the jutsu itself. Try adding all or as much strengths with what you see in the jutsu. Also I understand some jutsus are more simple then others and might not have as much advantages but that is okay, its all about trying and thinking about it. But I do expect 1-3 strengths mentioned.

Lastly to perfect the strength portion, this is simple but something so many students fail to do. When you give a strength explain why that is considered a strength. Yes explain why. This is the most important part because it shows us how you plan on using it in battle and the teacher will be able to pick out what you have done wrong specifically. So simply saying it goes long range does not make it a hardcore advantage because if you think about it, that can also be considered a disadvantage. So by saying that it is very wrong and can confuse the teacher, all we really do is assume and guess what you are trying to say. So trying to perfect it, you would need to say something like this. This is the correct and proper way in doing the strength portion of the template.
The jutsu goes in long range, because of this the opponent will not be able to evade that easily by just pushing back and it can correspond with other jutsus.
Now the second portion of the template is creative usages. What is this is simply a combo or something you would do with the jutsu. This helps the teachers notice your style and what you are likely to accomplish in fighting so if you are doing anything wrong we can inject it and fix it so you do not make a mistake in battle. This is all about just being creative, every jutsu has a unique usage and can be used creatively or at the very least used in correspondence with other jutsus to create a combo to attack the opponent or turn the table on them.

Simple combos are of all kind, and most teachers will explain the jutsus usually giving a combo or a usage you can use, but it is the very basic of it. It is simply meant to show you how it is meant to be used or just to give you an idea. All because the teacher says it does not mean we want you to repeat what we said. You need to come up with another detail or combo. Simple combos could be like sending a fire jutsu towards the opponent and then use a jutsu to shake the ground to put the opponent off balance so it will be hard to react with the attack, and a more powerful combo could be when sending a fire jutsu direct it towards the ground and then send a single blade of wind behind the fire, which you can then activate the blade to turn into a hurricane to create a powerful fire vortex. Though with newer RPers they tend to sometimes use basic combos because they have seen less of the jutsu list or understand it less then others, but when you move on and learn more jutsu creating combos become much more easier and you begin to take action effectively.

Drawbacks/counters

Now this is the complete opposite of the strengths and creative usages. This is as equal as the strengths and creative usages for it allows the teacher to see exactly how is your understanding of the jutsu. Usually when people look at jutsus they tend to leave this with very little detail and failure to explain it properly. This is because many people believe disadvantages are to obvious to try and explain on why its a disadvantage which is the wrong mentality when doing this point. There are things with drawbacks and counter that need to be taken in account. What I usually expect from the student here is at least 1-3 drawbacks and at least one counter for the jutsu you would do.

Drawbacks when looking into it is not explained from the student, it is usually because of the double standards people give to jutsus. As I explained in the above long range attacks would be great attacks but their are disadvantages to them, one being is if the opponent is long range it will take much more time for the attack to reach the opponent so they will be able to counter the attack with ease. The thing is when it comes to advantages their will always be a disadvantage to that very thing. If something is great to use in short range battle it is useless in long range, if the jutsu is a projectile technique it can be used with combos but the jutsu will usually be straightforward and easy to anticipate. This is something always to consider when writing disadvantages that they're will always be one as long as you have listed advantages or mention them. So if you have two advantages mentioned then their is a huge likely hood that their will be two disadvantages with that, so their should not be much of a ratio difference between the two.

Listing proper drawbacks all depends on the way you fight and how you see the jutsu being used, usually it is looked at if the jutsu is sent or used against you, what would be the initial weaknesses you would sense. Firstly too look into listing them you have to take account everything in your senses and the jutsu concept. When it comes to the senses examples include if you send a large fire attack towards the opponent you will likely not be able to see through the fire so you won't be able to see how they are moving or what they are doing. If the opponent tries to use a jutsu with earth release that uses the ground as a medium you will be able to use your sense of feel, to feel the density of the ground begin to shift or change. Stuff like this are obvious disadvantages. Now when it comes with the jutsu concept those are usually the usual people tend to look into, so lets say the chidori only works in close range battle so it can't be used for anything but close range battle limiting the jutsu. Also jutsus that have long list of hand seals are disadvantages because it might take some time to perform the jutsu leaving you open. Streaming techniques are usually not good to use with combos but you have complete control where you aim them. (Notice their how their is a disadvantage but also a advantage because of that ability)

Lastly when it comes to countering the jutsu. Now how teachers picture your combos is usually as if the jutsu has already been sent so saying things like:
While he is performing the long list of hand seals I will send an attack before he completed them.
Yes they work but it will not always be the case like that so you need to be able to counter it as if it was already sent, though its not bad to mention that aspect saying because of the hand seals you can counter before he completes them but it is not what we look at, you are not simulating a battle situation, and that is what teachers what you to try to do and how they want to teach as if you were in battle. Remember when we were talking about how disadvantages work? Those are usually what a person will look at when trying to counter the jutsu, so lets say the opponent sends a lightning blade towards you as a projectile attack, this is what is acceptable.
Due to the fact it is straight forward and easy to notice (See the disadvantage) I can simply figure out where it is heading and I can create a dense defense like a wall or try to overpower it.
So using those disadvantages you listen can be used to make the proper counter towards the jutsu so remember that.

Lastly it is the type of counters we want to see. When it comes to countering a jutsu we don't want you just to stop the jutsu, we want you to turn the table and go on the offense so to impress try to add ways to not only defend but attack as well. Also try not to spam the same counter over and over, what I mean by that is if the opponent sends a lightning attack don't just say:
I will send a wind attack to overpower it.
That is far to generic, yes some techs are more straightforward then others but those should be the ones you can formulate better counters with, its okay to experiment and say something new or outside the box, that is what teachers want to see and what they expect. So instead of using a wind jutsu, why not use a water pillar to launch you in the air and then send a attack to go on the quick offense? Simple yes, but at least it is not generic and overdone.

So that is the basis of everything, all in all try to have fun and be creative with it, this is meant for enjoyment as well as a learning experience.

Also how many jutsus would you like to progress each post? (1-3)

( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with Wind Release: Divine Wind to create a tornado of flames, or with Wind Release: Godly Wind from the Mountains to release a massive inferno. The stream of fire can be created by stomping the ground (running across the ground in this case) or by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy).

A brilliant jutsu. With one hand seal the user will send a stream of chakra either through their mouths or by stomping on the ground. They can be shaped in two ways either a circle shaped running through the air, or stream through the ground and when it gets in range trap the opponent in a inferno if flames which will restrict their movement which then you can send an attack. This jutsu has a great mobility to it because you can manipulate it freely. You can trap an opponent on ground making it hard to move around great to stop quick opponents. Its also a stream based technique.

( Katon: Ryuka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user will perform four handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger , and breathe fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

Okay this is a rather simple technique nothing to much about it, you will get a cord and send it towards the opponent, then using 4 hand seals you breathe through the cord and send a stream of fire through towards it burning the opponents upper body when caught. Being a stream technique you will have to release it constantly a great thing for the technique is you can use many opponents as a conductor to attack multiple targets. Though its a very straightforward technique. It in all honesty is useless since their are other jutsus quicker to perform without a cord. You can easily but the cord when it wraps around or gets to you.

( Katon: Karyudan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user exhales a flame breath from their mouth after making the tiger hand seal. This technique can be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet to ignite the projectiles fired by the latter technique, making it more devastating.

The user will gather katon chakra and release a bullet of fire after doing one hand seal. This is again quite simple nothing much to it really, it is mainly use to supplement earth dragon bullet which will ignite it into a hot rock material. It can still be used by itself to send a basic fire bullet projectile which can distract the opponent or supplement basic combo attacks. Ways to counter can be with a simple wall or any water jutsu is easy enough.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu begins to flash the tiger hand seal to concentrate on his raw chakra. After the raw chakra has been gathered with his hand seal formed, he begins to think of a warm sensation. It was fast and wild. It was hard to contain this new energy as he molded the raw chakra into the new, warm chakra which is referred to as katon chakra. After the katon chakra is molded, Yoshimitsu spews out the chakra through his mouth. As the chakra comes out, Yoshimitsu wills the katon chakra to form a circle by using shape manipulation. As the two ends of the fire touch in mid air, Yoshimitsu makes the ring of fire to spin through the air at an imaginary Mandalore noob.
Creative uses/strengths: Something good about this jutsu is that there are two methods in which to use this. That means if you used it once already in a battle, you can confuse your opponent by saying the same jutsu, only using the other method which should throw them off. Another strength is that in one method, you can trap your opponent. That means I can use a jutsu such as Swamp of the Underworld whilst they are trapped, Dropping Lid, or something along those lines to attack my attacker while they are trapped.
Drawbacks/counters: Since most people would like to use this jutsu as a combination type, I could easily disrupt my opponents movements with a jutsu of my own right after he used this. I am pretty sure that once the ring of fire is set, it cannot be moved again so if one merely jumps out of the ring via a water pillar.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu first checks his ninja tool pouch for wire before the jutsu is underway, and after he is sure he has some, he starts to gather raw chakra. After he gathers the raw chakra, Yoshimitsu starts to think of heat. Blazing heat that would give you blisters on your sunburns. When the raw chakra gives him a warm and energetic sensation, Yoshimitsu quickly grabs the wire and throws it onto the tree after preforming the hand seals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger. Once that is all done, Yoshimitsu spews out the stream of fire chakra onto the wire and ignites the tree partially.
Creative uses/strengths: When engaging someone in close quarters combat, I could possibly sneak a small wire onto someone if I sacrifice my body to one hit. After getting knocked back I could then make sure I would have a direct hit via the wire which would still be attached.
Drawbacks/counters: I don't like the wire. It would be extremely hard getting it on someone without them noticing, and I hear there are many other jutsu that work better with the same damage output and affects.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu stands erect, gathering raw chakra. Once he gathers enough raw chakra, Yoshimitsu starts imagining a blazing hot pan that burnt him as a kid, he imagined the hottest day of summer in his home state, he imagined fire itself. The chakra he produced now had a warm feeling and was hard to contain. Yoshimitsu then flashed the tiger hand seal and spewed out the chakra. Yoshimitsu makes the chakra which he spewed out jagged in the front, like a dragons head. The back he made somewhat spherical, more like a bullet. It continued on and hit the tree that was already on fire, and completely destroyed it.
Creative uses/strengths: There really is nothing creative about this jutsu, except maybe that I could make it hit the ground in front of my opponent to either cause steam to rise of the dirt and smoke to cloud their vision. This would give me an opening to do whatever I want to my opponent. :snick: The simplicity in this jutsu is also appealing to me. I like simple jutsu even though they are easy to counter, but the look of the dragon bullet is so cool.
Drawbacks/counters: A drawback to this jutsu is that it is easily countered, and it's combination method would take too long unless you had a kage bunshin with you. By the time you got the earth dragon bullets going, your opponent would have already used a jutsu to not only counter the earth dragon bullets, but most likely put you in danger as well.

Not bad :) actually very well done. There are only 4 left on the C-Ranks, so lets just finish them now.

( Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

Okay with 6 hand seals you will gather your chakra and send large amount of fire chakra towards the opponent which you will then split apart to send a volley of small fireballs towards the opponent, they are sent in a very unpredictable manner making evasion difficult which you can use against the opponent as it is sent which is great to aid in combos.. The flames can also be controlled by the user making evasion even tougher but you will need to control them while doing so, it can leave you open. You can send shurikens towards the fireballs. Even with the shurikens they are sent unpredictably and can be controlled. This is much more faster if you have speciality with fire to perform quicker.

( Katon: Honoo no Saigai Hi Kagayaku no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame of Disaster Fire Shine Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user releases a flame of fire chakra that converges on the opponent wrapping around them and burning them.

Okay for this technique without hand seals and with speed you will release a stream of fire towards the opponent, the fire acts in a way where it tries to wrap around the opponent burning them. Now its very quick to execute. I would also say its very flexible and covers some size. One draw back is its straightforward which makes it simple to send an attack to overpower it.

( Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai ) - Fire Release: Falling Fire Scatter
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user whilst in mid air will release from their mouth a series of small fire shots that rain down upon the target.

Okay the opponent while mid-air and gather their katon chakra while up mid-air and then they will release a select number of fireballs which will rain down on the opponent straight forward. Each fireball are quite weak of rank but they can burn on contact causing pain. Now you can aim anywhere while mid-air. I would also say its great to use because while mid-air you are handicapped unable to move physically so with this you have a attack to harm an opponent. Thing is you must be mid-air to perform the technique.

( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.

The user will send towards the opponent a small bright ball of fire towards the opponent through their mouths. This is a very basic technique and fast to perform having no hand seals and being a projectile attack which makes it a combo jutsu to send multiple attacks over and over. The ball goes straightforward towards the opponent and burn right on impact. Also its one of the few fire attacks that can travel long range. Though it says its bright Its not so bright to hurt an opponents vision so don't try to exploit that.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu starts by gathering his raw chakra. Once gathered, Yoshimitsu imagines the sun's warm rays beating on his back in the summer. He imagines opening an oven door for a loaf of bread and the heat shuffling out of the oven onto his body. After he imagines this, he condenses the chakra and it forms into Katon chakra! After that is gathered, Yoshimitsu preforms a series of six hand seals to concentrate his chakra and let it flow through his stomach and out his mouth into a fiery blaze. Yoshimitsu then uses shape manipulation to divide the blaze into six different sections that are equal in mass to each other, whilst concentrating on rounding the edges which would turn all of the six sections into little fire balls. With the fire balls under his control, he wills two of the fireballs to hit the river near them, another two to stay above him, and the last two to hit the ground three meters away from him. The fire above him dissipates soon after since Yoshimitsu quit focusing chakra on the balls.
Creative uses/strengths: This technique is great, and I just realized it. You can hit the opponent from multiple angles at once, which is a huge advantage. This will cause them to use a 360 degree defense, which should hinder their vision. Then an attack from below or above should finish them. This jutsu is sneaky. Heueueu.
Drawbacks/counters: The only bad things about this jutsu are the hand seals and needing to focus chakra in it the whole time. While focusing chakra in the balls, one cannot continue the onslaught with another jutsu, or their balls shall forever be gone. Plus six whole hand seals is not worth it, since someone could interrupt your hand seals with a quicker jutsu such as world shaking or them damn earth spikes.

Perform the technique: After gathering raw chakra from his body, Yoshimitsu imagines summer again. The hear in the factory he worked at which produced hot steam, burning himself many times. After condensing the chakra with this though, the chakra then turns into katon chakra. Yoshimitsu then wills the chakra through his stomach, up his throat, and out his mouth into a stream. Yoshimitsu then makes the stream of fire wrap around the air where he imagines an opponent being. Oh, that must hurt!
Creative uses/strengths: This attack is relatively simple which I like, since it makes the attack easy for me to use. I fail to see how I can use this in a create way, unless I somehow cloud their vision and drown out their hearing with a huge fire jutsu. Then I can let this fire jutsu pass through mine and wrap around the opponent unexpectedly. ._.
Drawbacks/counters: It is almost too simple and lacks creative ways to deal damage or even make contact with an opponent. What I mean by that is that anyone with a lick of skill can easily use a pillar of water to jump out of the way, go underground via hiding like a mole, or even a simple water bullet could evaporate this.

Perform the technique: Once Yoshimitsu has gathered enough raw chakra, he thinks of a warm sensation. He continues to think on the sun and the bonfire where he hung out with his friends, and lastly thought of the katon Adachi used on him. Whilst condensing the chakra and thinking about warmth, he succeeds in molding katon chakra. When he is done molding the chakra, he jumps on the side of a tree and jumps off the tree into the air, which is about seven meters up. He then spews out the chakra and uses shape manipulation to divide the fiery mass into four. The four masses then start to form circular shapes with no edges, and they pulverize the ground beneath him.
Creative uses/strengths: I kind of like this. This jutsu is fast, and could have a decent AoE due to the number of balls shot out. You could also make a bunshin and send it in the air via water pillar and your opponent could then either choose to focus on you or the clone. If he focus' on the user, the clone can rain down fire.
Drawbacks/counters: You need to be in the air while using this. This stinks, since you legally cannot jump in the air and use this jutsu as well as wind stream. Which stinks. >_>

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu stands erect with a good posture and starts forming raw chakra. Once he gathers enough, Yoshimitsu then thinks of the sun and it's warm rays on his back in his summer pool. He also thinks of scalding hot bath water which he uses to bath in. Once the chakra is formed into katon chakra by these thoughts, Yoshimitsu lets the chakra flow through his gut and out his mouth. Once the chakra is spewed out, he uses shape manipulation and rounds out the edges and condenses it, making it a ball of fire. The fire then travels a good distance before exploding.
Creative uses/strengths: Really basic, but I like some basic. It can be used as a distraction again by hitting the ground and getting dirt and rubble in your opponents peripherals, as well as making noise. You could also use this and get their attention off you and use an attack from below. The range is also nice.
Drawbacks/counters: It is almost too simple again, and can be defended before it makes contact with you or the ground in front of you unless you are very close. It just has too little use for me to like it. z.z

For the first jutsu, you can use it in two ways. One way by sending the volley of fireball in an unpredictable manner which you do not need to focus and another way which you can focus on each of them and guide them. It usually depends how you want to work with em.

Now we are done with C-Ranks. I want you to make a top 5 list of your favorite katon jutsus of C-Rank and explain to me why.

1. ( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique

I like this jutsu because of it's multiple projectiles and how I can control them. My imagination is my limit on this, and attacking from every angle would seem rather difficult to defend against. Plus there are not too many hand seals for there to be a major hindrance to it. The worst thing about it is the range though.

2. ( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire

Again, this jutsu can be used two different ways and I love diversity. It is not too complex, and it can trap your opponent which I like [my favorite way]. This will be good for setting up kill combos like dropping lid and swamp of the underworld. I like it's mid range reach and well as it's speed also.

3. ( Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai ) - Fire Release: Falling Fire Scatter

The only bad thing about this jutsu is that you need be in the air to use it, but if you are in the air, this jutsu is great. I love how you can rain multiple fire balls down at your opponent, and how it can cover a nice area. It is also sneaky fast and I doubt someone could really defend against it in short range.

4. ( Katon: Karyūdan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet

The rest of the jutsu left are bland in my opinion, but I like this since the bullet is shaped like a dragon head. It is very simple and is executed very fast. Up to mid range reach, and can be used in conjunction even though I never will. But I mainly like it for the looks.

5. ( Katon: Kimuchi Amura ) - Fire Release: Wall of Flames

I kind of like this jutsu because it blocks the LoS between me and my opponent, and both my bios are sensory so I would know where they are. I could then use Hurricane fist and startle my opponents, making them focus on my fiery tornado. I could then go underground or attack them from a different angle, but I really think the rest of the jutsu stink. xD

( Katon: Karyu Endan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated and exhaled as a thin yet incredibly fast jet of flames that spread across the ground as it runs towards the enemy. Its temperature is such that it easily melts the ground as it travels and can reduce an enemy to ash.

Okay with 7 hand seals its quite a long technique, the user will channel katon chakra towards their throat then the user will send towards the opponent a stream of fire, the stream moves very fast through the ground burning it as it moves, its a fast moving technique as well as it is able to move up to long range making it much more mobile. It has a large amount of condense heat so on contact it can severly burn an opponent to ash and can melt the ground. It can easily disrupt jutsu that use the ground as a medium as well. Its a stream technique so you must continue to send the stream until it hits the opponent. Simple ways to counter is send some water on the ground.

( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

The user will gather katon chakra and release multiple fire shots from their hands. It has no hand seals so its fast to perform and can travel up to mid range. Its not the best jutsu to use in close range because its different compared to other fire jutsus. It explodes on impact and burns where it is hit. If their is a chance it is sent and you are close to the fire you can catch in the blast. You are able to send multiple meaning you can attack more then one threat. It is mainly projectile so you can send multiple attacks for great use of distraction. Simple ways to stop the shots is create a wall to withstand the explosions, or simply try to push backward to get out of range.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

This jutsu is must like the C-Rank jutsu you most likely learn, just a very large version with more fire, and attack potential. The user will spew it from their mouth as well. A huge problem with the technique is it can only travel up to short range which can hinder the user so its not mobile. It has no hand seals so its a plus since its quicker to perform unlike its weaker version. It can be used to intercept attacks and overpower basic techniques. Due to its large size it can block the users vision as you send the fireball same goes with the fact, the opponent won't be able to see you.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu gathers the raw chakra in his body until he feels he has enough to preform a decent sized jutsu. He then thinks about warmth, his trip to Sunagakure, and Yard's forbidden ranked katon jutsu in which he could feel his hairs being singed from meters away. He then condenses the chakra into katon chakra with those memories and feelings. Yoshimitsu then continues to focus on his chakra by weaving seven hand seals all the while letting his chakra flow through his stomach and out his mouth in a thin stream of katon chakra. Once the chakra started to flow out his mouth at extreme speeds, Yoshimitsu descends the angle of his head a little and the stream flew across the ground, igniting a near by tree.
Creative uses/strengths: Well this can turn opponents to ash supposedly, so no one really wants to just tank this. That means they would be focused on the ground and not myself, and would leave me able to attack at will. Other than that, I really cannot find any creative uses besides maybe using this on swamp of the underworld to harden the mud, if that is possible?
Drawbacks/counters: It has to be used on the ground and it has seven seals. I hate how long this would take due to the seals, and since the jutsu needs to touch the ground I cannot use it with all my imagination, and people would know where it is coming at.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu gathers raw chakra in his body whilst thinking of hot things. He thinks of when he touched the hot pan on his oven and how it burnt him and gave him blisters. He then condenses the chakra into katon chakra. He lets the katon chakra flow to each of his hands, and then targets a tree about 10m away. Yoshimitsu palms the air in front of himself with his right hand whilst releasing all of the chakra in his right hand. When the chakra left his hand, he used shape manipulation to round out all the edges and condensed the blast into a ball. The ball then hit the tree, causing a huge explosion.
Creative uses/strengths: This is a really cool jutsu. You can aim the blast to either side of your opponent, making them move their position and lead them with another blast. This jutsu can also be used in quick succession and make the opponent very antsy after multiple uses.
Drawbacks/counters: It can only be used in mid range. If used in short range you get fried, and it cannot reach long range. That is the only real drawback I can see. A counter can be a simple water bullet, or water wall since water puts out the fire.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu gathers some raw chakra while thinking about the sun's warm rays in the summer. He imagines sweating his balls of while playing hantis and his feet on the scalding concrete. He then condenses the chakra into katon chakra. Yoshimitsu then connects his pointer finger and thumb into a ring shape and moves the hand towards his mouth. Yoshimitsu then spews out the chakra and uses shape manipulation to round any edges of the chakra and condenses the chakra into a ball shape. It continues into short range where it explodes on a tree.
Creative uses/strengths: Since this jutsu blocks the LoS from me and my opponent, I could use a bunshin to take my place while I go underground and totally kill my opponent with sneaky skills. Or shoot a raiton through the fire ball since raiton and fire can go through each other.
Drawbacks/counters: It can only go into short range and is easily countered by going underground, leaving you confused and wondering if you ball of fire roasted your opponent.

Won't harden the mud, but it will super heat it.

( Katon: Goenkyu ) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.

Okay now this jutsu is similar like the ones previous you learned. You well gather katon chakra and With two hand seals the user will send a large fire ball from their mouth, roughly the same size as the fireball the Uchia's are most famous for. The fireball will move towards the opponent at a normal pace, the ball is dense and when on contact will act to carry the opponent almost attaching itself to them which will restrict their movements and continue to burn them as they are being carried, the fireball will then continue to move some distance before it explodes mid air. Something handy about the jutsu is it can move up to any range making it quite mobile.

( Katon: Goenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user jumps in the air and shoots three giant bullets of fire that come down like giant meteors, then erupt into a geyser of flame.

Okay jumping in the air, the user will gather katon chakra and then from their mouth the user will send three giant bullets of fire that rain down upon the opponent. Their size is the same as the Uchia fireball they are known to use and while they descend they move at a quick pace. When they come on contact with the ground they erupt like geysers super heating and burning the area around it as well as the opponent. They can be aimed anywhere and are projectile based attacks as well as they are able to go long range so this is quite the mobile technique, also though it sends you must jump in the air pretty much whenever you are mid-air you can use it so its great to use in those tough situation, with no drawbacks.

( Katon: Haisekisho ) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

A favorite and a great one to use. A user will send very thick and hot ash from their mouths to the opponent, the ash alone can cause serious burns and if the opponent is caught in the ash cloud it can hinder the opponents vision distracting them so the ash can be used alone also to ignite the ash alone you can send another fire attack to cause an even larger explosion depending on what rank of attack you send, or by using a simple match it can cause the same explosion. The main method used is while the user is still sending the ash it right when it gets in the same area of the opponent you will click your teeth igniting the ash causing a sever explosion in the area. It needs 4 hand seals and the ash moves rather slow as it moves through the air. Explain this one with detail. The best way to counter is to push yourself back or to douse the ash away with water.

That blows. >_>

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu gathers raw chakra in his body and begins to imagine the sun. The suns heat on his back, the concrete patio burning his feet. After imagining this and condensing his chakra, Yoshimitsu has molded katon chakra. After molding the chakra, Yoshimitsu preforms two hand seals and spews out the katon chakra. After the chakra is spewed out, Yoshimitsu imagines the chakra rounded out without any corners and condenses it, forming it into a ball.
Creative uses/strengths: I am guessing this will block the LoS? If it does, I can send a raiton ghan through this and totally kill my opponent unless they metagame or some shit. xD
Drawbacks/counters: It is almost too simple. Straightforward techniques are ok, but they need to have something about themselves that sets them apart from the rest of the jutsu.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu gathers raw chakra throughout his body and begins imagining heat all around him. The thought of the warm heat molds his raw chakra into katon chakra. Yoshimitsu then jumps in the air whilst having moon shoes on to give him some hops. Yoshimitsu then spits out the chakra into thirds, and imagines beach balls as he wills the chakra. The chakra then forms fire balls as they hit the ground.
Creative uses/strengths: If I am in CQC with my opponent, I could trip him and use this jutsu. If not, I could use the sticky water jutsu to trap my opponent then use this jutsu.
Drawbacks/counters: I can think of none except the range maybe.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu starts gathering raw chakra in his body as he preforms four hand seals. He thinks about warm days in summer mowing the lawn as he condenses the chakra into katon chakra. Once the katon chakra is formed in his gut, Yoshimitsu wills the chakra to go up into his throat where he spews out the chakra and it forms into really hot ash. The ash moves slowly as Yoshimitsu keeps spewing the chakra and finally Yoshimitsu clicks his teeth to spark and the ash explodes.
Creative uses/strengths: You can use this in the Hidden Mist jutsu and no one would detect it. Or in the Bringer of Darkness genjutsu.
Drawbacks/counters: The ash is so slow and you need fire to make it explode.

( Katon: Goryuka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Supplementary
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user fires several large dragon-shaped fireballs at their opponent after performing one handseal. It is able to alter localized weather conditions to the point of making thunder clouds when shot into the air, enabling the user to perform Kirin.

Okay with no hand seals being a quick jutsu to perform the user will gather katon chakra and send several large dragon shaped fireballs towards the opponent from their mouth, they are of intense heat and burn on contact. It travels in all ranges and you can send more then one ball allowing to attack more then one opponent in any range of the terrain. The fireballs move at simple pace as well and can be used to aid in combos, one being you can melt some chunks of rocks to create a devastating attack. It is a very simple technique so in all honesty its simple to evade or block as well. Another plus is the fireballs are small but as they travel you can still look around the area so you can notice the opponents movements even after you send it. This technique is most famous for setting up Kirin.

( Katon: Hosenka Tsumabeni ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.

Okay the user will have a set of shurikens in one of their hands up to 4-6 I would say. The user will then launch the projectiles towards the opponent while at the same time while they have been launch the user will release a stream of fire towards them from their mouth which will set all of them on fire. This jutsu is all about timing. The shurikens move at normal pace but have great attack potency and will not only pierce but burn the opponent in that area hit. Its also a annoyance for the opponent for if they are pierced the shuriken will continue to burn which will hurt the opponent terribly. Now its great to use short-mid range but that is all they can move up to. Simple ways to counter is by pushing back or counter the shurikens.

( Katon: Onidoro ) - Fire Release: Demon Lantern
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the atmosphere around him to create several ghost-like flames resembling heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.

The user will do one hand seal and release fire around themselves and manipulate the shape of the fire into several ghost-like flames. This ghosts are able to move around in any range over the terrain any where. They have horns on their heads and yellow eyes. Its intent is to scare an opponent but I doubt it would actually cause much harm to an opponent by scaring them especially in our RP most stuff like that never come into action. The ghost travel towards the opponent on command of the opponent on the ground they attemp to swarm the target leaving no room for evasion. On contact the opponent will be burned by the ghosts when they get into close range. Note the ghosts move at normal pace and art great for protection as well.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu gathers raw chakra and begins to think about the heat. After thinking about the heat, he condenses his chakra and it forms into katon chakra. Yoshimitsu then forms a hand seal and spews out the katon chakra. He then imagines a dragon's head and it's curves, and by using shape manipulation, he applies this to the chakra to form a dragon head. It goes into long range than explodes.
Creative uses/strengths: This attack is very basic, but I can hit them in the air with it or make them move from their position by aiming it to their immediate left or right.
Drawbacks/counters: It is so basic and easy to counter.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu reaches within his ninja pouch and grabs about four shuriken. He flicks them at a tree, about mid range away. Quickly, Yoshimitsu spews out a stream of fire that ignites the shuriken. The flaming shuriken continue towards the tree, and stick into it, lighting the tree on fire.
Creative uses/strengths: I can use this to distract my opponent or put them in intense pain, which should halt their thinking process or make them panic. Against wind infused shuriken techniques, this should win.
Drawbacks/counters: They are just shuriken after all. You can blow them away, hit them away with raiton infused ones, doton wall, etc.

Perform the technique: Yoshimitsu claps his hands together and moves his fingers so he forms a tiger hand seal. Sending out his chakra in the atmosphere, ghost like fire entities are formed. They give off light and head off at a tree, igniting it.
Creative uses/strengths: In the dark, this can light up an area. It can burn someone or ignite them. It is relatively quick, can reach long range, and is cool looking.
Drawbacks/counters:They are kind of weak, but not many drawbacks besides it's area of affect.

Saying something like its easy to counter is okay and all but try telling me how you would while also trying to revert the time frame to your favor.

( Katon: Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra into their chest and then they will release from their mouth a quick burst of flame towards their opponents feet which then errupts into a large pillar of flame reaching 3 meters tall and inflicting damage to the target.

Okay a quick and simple technique. The user will gather their katon chakra into their lungs and spew a burst of flames towards the opponents feet, note this is a projectile jutsu so its nice to use for combo attacks as it moves. The fireball moves at a moderate pace like most. Right when it hits the opponents feet or around them from below the pillar will rise quickly hurling the opponent in the air. Inflicts serious damage in their feet reducing their ability to move and also is left vulnerable in the air where you can strike with a quick technique. The fireball can only move up to short-mid range so simple evasion can help, a wall of water can work to intercept the jutsu.

( Katon: Kaen Senpu ) - Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the required four handseals Monkey → Bird → Dog → Ram, fire erupts around the user's body and then launches towards the target in a spiraling-manner or expands engulfing the surrounding area in a tornado of flames. Anything nearby is incinerated as the flames erupt upwards.

The user will perform 4 hand seals and release fire from all over around the users body, it is then sent towards the opponent in a spiraling-manner, while spiraling it expands in size during travel. It engulfs anything caught in the vortex and is burned terribly. Takes time to perform but is quick and difficult to evade but is quite straightforward in where it moves. Its also a projectile technique after you send it to them so it can be used with combos, a great combo can be sending a hurricane of wind to create a vortex of fire. If caught the opponent will be burned as well as anything around the area.

( Katon: Benijigumo ) - Fire Release: Crimson Earth Spider
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing five handseals Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger , the user spews out fire that both surrounds the enemy and then transforms into a spider that attacks the enemy. This technique effectively traps and attacks an opponent at the same time, and can be used to force them into another attack.

You will have to perform 5 hand seals, then spew flames towards the ground which rushes towards the opponent and shapes itself as a circle to trap the opponent and user around a inferno of flames restricting not only the opponent but yourself as well, though the flames are not that large and can easily bypass by using a jutsu to go over. Nothing happens until the main attack is when some of the fire is manipulated into a fire spider which goes to attack the opponent by trying to attach and engulf itself over the opponent. The user will have to control the spider and remain focused, though this technique allows to both trap and attack the opponent all in one move which is handy but as you control the spider it can easily leave you open. The spider can only move around the flaming circle formation, and the formation can only be made up to mid range at most and covers a 5 meter radius.

Perform the technique: Penguin begins molding his physical and spiritual energies to form chakra. He then thinks about fire's properties and how hot it can reach, turning his chakra into a fiery and fierce nature. The chakra gathers in his lungs and is spewed out, using shape manipulation to turn it into a small fireball, about ten meters away. The fire then forms a pillar that is fiery hot.
Creative uses/strengths: I would use this with a genjutsu like Bringer of Darkness, since they wouldn't see the jutsu coming. The strengths is that it turns into a pillar after hitting the ground, which is not really normal. It would definitely surprise someone, and it is pretty fast.
Drawbacks/counters: This attack can be simply evaded via flicker evasion, water wall, doton walls, and turning yourself into S-rank stone. Otherwise it is a relatively good jutsu with little drawbacks.

Perform the technique: Penguin again starts forming chakra by combining his physical and spiritual energies. Once this is done, he reflects on katon and it's properties, turning his chakra into katon chakra. He then forms four hand seals and releases all the katon chakra through his body. The flames around his body turn into a vortex and is sent speeding towards a tree in front of Penguin, searing it to dust.
Creative uses/strengths: A strength of this is that it can be easily powered by fuuton jutsu. After the hand seals, the jutsu is pretty quick and it expands in size which is good. It can also reach up to mid range, which is optimal. Since it is a projectile, you can also use a lot of different combos and spam attacks.
Drawbacks/counters: The four hand seals don't seem too nice. A lot of water jutsu are fast to be expelled from the mouth, which can douse the katon with relative ease. As the fire is being expelled from the body, someone can ruin your balance and the katon would be shot off somewhere else.

Perform the technique: Penguin beings forming chakra as he thinks about katon. It's heat, fierceness, and wildness were so cool to him. As his chakra turned into katon chakra, he forms five hand seals and spews the katon on the ground towards his opponent. The katon then traps both the himself and the imaginary opponent in a circle, some of the katon forms into a spider whichs tears into opponent and burns it.
Creative uses/strengths: The strength of this jutsu is that it not only traps your opponent, but it attacks him as well. That is the only good thing about it though.
Drawbacks/counters: It takes five hand seals, traps you along with your opponent, requires you to channel chakra into it so you cannot keep spamming attacks, and it is just funky. It is easily counterable with a great colliding wave and other huge suiton. I just don't find it that great.

To put things into perspective, at your rank you should easily be able to form five handseals in a second (and as such, four in less). For some reason, people keep thinking that handseals take a long time, relatively, when they don't. O__O

( Katon: Hi no Iki ) - Fire Release: Fire Breath
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user breathes a powerful stream of fire from their mouth at their target.

One of the very simple techniques. The user will simply send a stream of fire from their mouths to the target which burns on impact. No hand seals required so it can be used in close range battle as well to distract the opponent or push them back, it is quite simple and gets the work done. Its a stream technique obviously so you will have to constantly send the stream to get to the opponent but you can aim it. Due to its simplicity simple counters like a wall or simply trying to evade going backwards is fine. I recommend to overpower it with a fast water technique.

( Katon: Honoo no Heki ) Fire Release: Flame Wall
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user kneads fire chakra into their forearm and then by swinging their arm in a wave motion they release the fire chakra creating a line of fire that spreads out infront of the user acting as a defensive wall.

Okay the user will gather katon chakra towards their favorite arm and then swing their arm releasing a wall of flames to intercept any basic attacks. It can burn out projectile weapons and withstand normal attacks. This can also be used for close range battle if an opponent comes in close you can quickly create the wall to force them back or you can even combo it with basic taijutsu attacks as well to decieve the opponent or with kenjuts whichever works best for the user. Another very simple jutsu but very effective to since it is easily fast to perform.

( Katon: Hinotama no Mai ) - Fire Release: Fireball Dance
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will attack the opponent with a series of slashes with their sword and then finish up with jumping into the air above the target and releasing a powerful fireball down upon them.
Note: Requires a Sword.

Okay must have a sword out make sure you mention in your bio you carry a basic sword, the user will begin to slash the opponent anywhere they aim, I prefer aiming towards the limbs and vital areas like the jugular since that will force the opponent to react defensively. Then after the opponent has been pushed back some distance the user will jump up into the air and release a fireball from their mouths to rain down on the opponent and burn them. The fireball moves at moderate pace and can easily be noticed to do the heat it or it can cast a shadow.
