Minamoto keeps living in an illusional world, solacing himself with some self-made fiction where Kishimoto truly planned for teh Tobidara's ultimate reveal, due to the fact that in the bottom of his heart minamoto understands that Tobidara theory will never happen. Basically, Minamoto blames his own arrogance on Kishomoto's incompetence.

Of course, at some point in the manga, his theory was believable, but when it was nearly close to the end, people and even Minamoto himself started to lose faith in teh mastermind plot twist, however, unlike normal people, the latter decided to completely cut any ties with reality by further denial of truth.

*Tho' I believe he's just trolling. Or he's got an extremely heavy degree of dementia. Or even both.
