some people who read marvel/dc comics says theres a such thing as a canon. but I say that's bs because both are multiverses for example in some versions of superman he isn't weak to kryptonite or magic. in others its super effective to the point he falls out instantly. plus theres the whole thing where theres numerous authors and varying powerlevels. and in some the character may die but still be alive in another multiverse.

Um both follow a main universe. So certain things can be canon to certain universes.

I don't actually read comics so I can't agree or disagree, but that stuff is confusing as a mother****er.

its still no canon because its a multiverse :|

But it would be canon within it's own universe wouldn't it? Yes it would. Story lines and events may change somewhat with each universe but it would stay be true to where it came from. Like how Iron man first created his armor or how Superman came to earth.

Thats why I can't **** with american comics like I can with anime/manga. Theres only one canon, and theres nothing to debate about. DC and Marvel comics are still great, just not my cup.

that's not what I mean. what I mean is how some people say so and so didn't beat so and so in canon. but it happened in this verse so isn't it technically canon? but its a multiverse so nothing is really canon.

I see. If it still happens then it is canon doesn't matter from what universe it's from imo. And remember marvel/dc branch out every few years to tell new stories.
