All depends tbh, for instance I stayed up 38 hrs not long ago when earlier that day I thought I was gonna pass out. So I'd say stay up cause if you go to sleep now you'll HATE to wake up and you're body will feel like dead weight being dragged. PS if you do stay up just don't lay down anywhere or else you'll probably pass out.

I'll try not to. I'm a heavy sleeper so if I go to bed now or later, I'll never wake up.

You need at least 3 hours to relax properly. Less than that will be irritating. You will manage to wake up though, exactly because you won't manage to fall into deep sleep.
So use those 2 hours to rest a bit.

Too late now I guess but you will be in this situation again, that's certain :p

That about sums it up. I'll definitly take those words into consideration next time.

Anything less than six hours is honestly not worth it.

Take a 15-20 minute nap (studies have found that this is the best amount of time for a energy-restoring nap) and then drink plenty of water, avoid junk food, keep a positive mindset and drink some coffee but not too much as you'll end up tiring yourself even more in the long run.

Well just get a cup of coffee and you should be set. To avoid this problem of not being able to sleep... DO NOT STARE AT YOUR CLOCK while you're "trying" to sleep. (It's psychological proven that you will end up not getting enough sleep if you do so and it can be some what stressful if you have to attend an important event the next day)

Last Semester I would often go a day or two without sleep and it sucks. I would occasionally take a nap, ask a roommate to wake me up in a few hours for my next class though. That was refreshing,.

Alright so that day I eventually decided to stay up. I had a cup of coffee and went to school. I was in beast mode and finished all my work. Around 12PM, I crashed. I literally just closed my eyes and slept for 10 minutes during a lecture about medieval england. Then I came home and slept for 10 hours straight..It was so peaceful..but I'm never doing that again.
