[VS] No Sharingan Kakashi vs. Asuma

Good Morning Guys !

I come to you with a little discussion on the topic of Kakashi vs. Asuma

With this being said the only restriction is that Kakashi doesn't have Sharingan.

I think this is a pretty even match.. Who do you think would win?

I pick Asuma -

Kakashi can easily counter Asuma's fire and wind techniques, and I doubt that Asuma's chakra blades would make much of a difference.

Kakashi still has the edge, mainly due to tactical usage of Kage Bunshin and Doton tunneling, as well as a slight speed advantage.

Kakashi takes this. His intelligence makes up for Sharingan loss. Doton walls, Raiton running beast and suiton techs should to the trick. And yes he can use Chidori without Sharigan just not as efficiently.[SUB]

I have to give it to kakashi.Without sharingan he has a bit more chakra than he did with it so more usage of his Justu arsenal

Kakashi. Asuma was pretty rubbish when all was said and done.

Kakashi stomps, he is still far far far better even without the Sharingan/MS. A lot faster, more skilled in taijutsu, a lot smarter, he can easily trick Asuma with Kage Bunshin or RKB and then blitz him from the back with a Raikiri or a simple kunai to the throat. Not to mention top notch Raiton mastery, high level Suiton, high level Doton etc

Kakashi isn't "stomping" without Sharingan. Asuma's physical stats are equal to Kakashi's (4.5 in speed and Taijutsu). Kakashi has probably hit tier 5.0 speed since the release of DB3 (given Itachi and base Gai have it, and I don't consider Kakashi behind them anymore in speed), but he'd require the Sharingan's precognition to use Shunshins fast enough to realistically "blitz" Asuma.

Asuma has ranged Futons, which can shut down Raikiri Wolf shots and any other ranged Raitons Kakashi might have. Asuma's Katons are not really traditional Katons; he shoots out smoke clouds and then ignites them, so Kakashi's Suiton advantage is negligible where elemental superiority is concerned.

I agree that Kakashi wins due to intelligence and his tactical usage of Doton tunneling and Kage Bunshin combos, but it isn't a stomp. If he had his Sharingan, then sure.
