No Room For LOVE In Naruto

I keep wondering why lots of people can't accept the fact that Naruto is mainly action-based and NO ROMANCE. All this NaruSaku, NaruHina, GamaTonTon etc trash gotta stop, it ain't happening at all! It's caused lots of arguements in different boards and caused various characters to be hated by people, such as Sakura being called a bitch by Hinata fans, Hinata being called creepy by Sakura fans, Sasuke being called gay etc...Even in the period of war, people are talking of this ROMANCE s**t; I was so sick when I read the 616 predictions and 615 discussions, most of it was just "Yay, NaruHina in action Yay! <3 <3 <3" or "Naruto and Hinata are holding hands!! Aww hw cute <3, I wonder if they actually expect them to hold hands, hop into the woods and make out there while the Juubi is wreaking havok. You see, this is driving us from the main plot. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR ROMANCE. Wouldn't it be better if people actually tought about who would take out Madara and Obito, who would stop the Juubi, what Sasuke's role in this war is, what next awesome strategic plan are Gai and Lee formulating? You grab?

As long as it is in the manga, there's room for it. Otherwise, Kishi would concentrate only on action and wouldn't show it at all.

well being a shonen manga it actually HAS room for pairings..naruto is all about live. its about the problems we have in politics, society and stuff. its about family bonds, friendships and love. so yes it has room for love. its simply not its main topic, but has proven more than once that it happens if you remember correctly U_U ( Tsunade and Dan, Minato Kushina etc,...) naruto is one of the few mangas which actually isnt only action based..its more a llive lesson for growing people and young adults^^ sadly most people only care about the fights and cant read whats underneath the underneath

The thing is that the targeted demographic of this manga is little boys and teenaged males which is why I dont think there really is any "underneath the underneath" wrt romance. I hope Kishi does an asspull in the end with pairings just to piss the fangirls off.

Well there is room...but I don't want it taking major room....the way it ius done in the manga works well. It isn't a love story every 10 chapters, and it isn't absent. It gives us a sense of a more human character as it shows more then just let's go fight. I don't expect nor would I really want them to go and have dates all the time, but I mean towards the end of the series all they need to show would be peoples holding hands or a child....

Now the ammount of threads made on it recently has just been rediculous. And the manga still focuses on action so its all good
