No, please no, more fillers next week?!

I didn't watch the thing but read in the discussion thread that there's gonna be ANOTHER filler next week! Thought this was supposed to.be the last filler....was looking forward to Madara making an appearence.....soooo many damn fillers.....Seriously, Naruto has got to be turning into one of the worst anime ever.....filler, filler, filler.....surely the manga's far enough ahead by now?!

The anime is based off the manga. But they are not the exact same thing. These "filler" episodes are part of the anime even though these events never occurred in the manga. We just have to learn to accept that.

The reason why they're doing this is to be safe. The manga IS incredibly far ahead of the anime yes but remember that almost all of what happens from then to now are fights. The anime goes through fights very quickly and the Madara fight may only take 2-3 episodes. Because it's all fights the anime is going to speed through all of it pretty fast.

Would you prefer to have the last remainders of the war filler now or have filler during the actual battles themselves (god forbid stretching out the fights and flashbacks)

Sorry next week IS a filler, it will continue until the 30th I think because on the 6th of June, it looks like we're going back to the storyline
