Intelligence: in an academic/scientific way he's one of the highest ranking, in terms of life in general he's a f*cking moron. Shikaku/Shikamaru Nara in terms of raw I.Q, there are others who outstrip in their specialist fields... I imagine Hiruzen in general is more intelligent overall.

I wouldn't say that Orochimaru - had ever - surpassed Hiruzen Sarutobi, though.

Orochimaru is highly susceptible to Genjutsu, that much is true. But overall, no one surpasses him in every category. And as far as DSM Kabuto surpassing him, I doubt he would win in a fight with Zetsu Orochimaru. His body shouldn't be terminally ill, like it was for the entirety of his showing in Naruto (his bodies reject him). He toyed with the same Naruto that almost killed Jiraiya, which should say something about him being stronger than him by a wide margin. He's Mid Kage, Power Wise, with Genius intellect, and unique Jutsu.

OT: No... You're wrong on multiple points... Orochimaru has been surpassed by multiple people throughout his life, Kabuto especially. That was one of the points of Kabuto's character. Also, Orochimaru was born after Hashirama's death...

However, once Naruto and Sasuke die, he will be unsurpassable.

OT: No... You're wrong on multiple points... Orochimaru has been surpassed by multiple people throughout his life, Kabuto especially. That was one of the points of Kabuto's character. Also, Orochimaru was born after Hashirama's death...

However, once Naruto and Sasuke die, he will be unsurpassable.

You are entitled to your opinion, but your are wrong on some account.
1. Hashirama lived long enough to see Tsunade develop CES. She had to be at least 10, so Orochimaru would've been born.
2. The main point of Kabuto was identity crisis, and how he strived to be, and surpass Orochimaru. In the end he failed. Orochimaru is still more durable, smarter, and physically equal as far as speed and reactions go.

Ok, so you're saying what single ONE character surpasses Orochimaru in all categories?

Obtio, Madara, Tobirama, maybe Itachi, maybe Minato. For sure Kaguya, SOSP etc.

Kaguya is not at all intelligent, nor is Minato when it comes to comprehension. The only one comparable to Orochimaru in Knowledge is Tobirama, Madara, Sasuke, Kabuto, and The Naras. Even so, Orochimaru has done experiments and studies, and is decidedly more knowledgeable than any one in the manga. Tobirama and Itachi are nowhere near as durable or Versatile as Orochimaru. Orochimaru is around the same physical parameters as Itachi and Pre JJ Obito.
