In the entire SH crew, only luffy is the one whose thoughts have never been shown (even though his memories are shown but never thoughts written in text)

Anyone noticed?

He's not a complex individual, plus he's the main character, so we pretty much know everything we need to know by that point.

Oda said in an SBS that he does that because Luffy is a straightforward character and says what he think so he wants to portray that.

OT; Luffy doesn't hide his feelings. You know what he means because he says it. He isn't a 'I will say one thing but I am thinking another' kind of guy.

Eh, I think the guy you're replying to made it confusing. He/she was quoted your comment as if to say "this" and added a question to it since he is wondering what it has to do with anything... I think.

Ah, alright then.

Idiots' minds work on levels that even geniuses can't comprehend, Hahaha.
OT Luffy is a simple guy who doesn't think 'a' and does 'b', what he thinks is what he says or does.

It's because he's simple. Oda stated that Luffy doesn't think much. He says what he wants to say and does what he wants to do. He doesn't think.

He says or acts out what he thinks. So no need for thought bubbles.

Mihawk vs Luffy is the only time he didn't act out because his CoO was being shown.
