No More Substitution Jutsu? :'(

Come on ... During the course of the Naruto Shippuden Series, we have rarely seen some shinobi pull off the old body-replacement jutsu. Why?

This Jutsu allows the user to replace their own body with a different object, like a log for example, right? So Why isn't anybody using this jutsu during the Fourth Great Ninja War!? It's a matter of life and death, and if there is a jutsu which has the ability to substitute your own physical body for an instant before an attack, Why Wouldn't you use it?!? :crazy:

Kishi just forgot it since it's only Amaterasu, TBB, Susano'o and Kamui nowdays. I miss the good old ninja fights in part 1 (ex. Oro vs. 3rd or Chuunin exam-Forest of Death)

Totally agree, but still ... If i was a shinobi in that scenario, i would've used that jutsu in an instant...

That's how the Madara will be defeated. Naruto will jump and get stabbed Madara, and then Naruto will be replaced by Madara!!!

Attacks are much faster in shippuden than in part 1 so maybe the substitution jutsu is 2 slow or 2 low class 4 the jutsus being used now

Because the war arc is the worst arc in Naruto's entirety. And obviously part 1> part 2 by a very long shot.

i agree things have gone to much like dbz imo ... things should of stayed the way they were in part 1 ... nothing to over powered and u had to use strategy ... it was much more ninja like then it is now :|

also u hardly see handsigns being performed now like with kakashi in part one he had to use handsigns to use chidori ... now its just *poof* chidori

Yea, i noticed that ever since the series has been dragging along over the years, it seems that Kishimoto just kinda "let-loose" on his creative ideas. :/

Madara is an edo right now and edo's have immortal bodies

no this isnt the case its just the power scalings are different in part 1 and 2

Sasuke did it when he fought the bomb king I think that the only time is was used in shippuden

Nah, there were some instances in the Series where others used it too, like Sasuke, Yamato, I believe Naruto... but those are --> RARELY <--- Being used now ... Remember Part 1 Of the Series? It was abused, now it's forgotten...
