There's a rumor going around that Kakashi will take his mask off in the movie.

well.. without the sharingan maybe new strengths can finally emerge.. no more sharingan = more stamina which means he could finally put to use all those techs he has copied..

there is also another way for kakashi to complete his raikiri without the sharingan and now with no stamina drainage he could put it to use

I guess he barely has 1000 jutsu. He only doesnt use them cuz Raikri s fast easy to use but in so many situation plus he has sharingan draining chakra along with Raikiti and then kumui was the ultimate equilizer so no point in using other 1000.
