Based on the pictures and based on the fact that Kurama is indeed asleep, I think it's probable that Naruto can only go KCM/KCSM in the Last.

He is supposed to get the other half of Kurama so I find that unlikely.

I suspect that either that pic is fake or that its simply an art decision by Kishimoto.

We don't know if Naruto has FTG or not.
