Depends, if you don't mind the crafting grind and a very solo, calm tranquil experience id get.... Hell if you indulge in the greener things in life id say it's even better lol

Tends to get boring imo. I'm best off waiting for Star Citizen

I feel as if star citizen is going to end up being a good game, but incredibly padded. It seems ambitious, but just enough to take game-play mechanics and copy paste it way too much to make it feel grindy.

But that in itself is better than going "Spore" levels of ambitious like No man's sky did.

That's what people are saying, I personally couldn't stand mine craft but I've sunk hours into no mans sky already. The planets are usually cool to look at, and you can spend hours exploring each one, whether looking for crafting materials, a new ship, little glyphs to learn a language, suit and tool upgrades, etc. coming from someone who plays pretty much nothing but multiplayer games I still really enjoy NMS

Edit: then again I really enjoy being able to fly a spaceship lol so there's that....

If it was multiplayer I'd buy it XD I don't like playing games like that unless it's people there to make it fun the game seems isolated. I could try it though.

True, but what they have is pretty promising so far. They just need to work out a few glitchy bugs, however their procedural planet tech is off the charts compared to most space games out there. As well as the ability to walk around your ship mid-flight, trade, form organizations, etc. Some of the stuff might not be in on release, but even just a few I believe would make star citizen top notch

Lol it's very isolated, in that case I'd recommend red boxing it first if you can. I didn't think I'd like it after reading reviews in progress myself so you never know

If it's ever in the red box where I stay then I might. Not gonna waste 64 bucks if I hate it.
