What does that fight have to do with the current story. And also sasuke told naruto in that fight that he wouldn't be able to lay a finger on his fourhead witch naruto did in the end also in my own opinion they were equal.

That fight decided a lot of sasuke's resolve when him and naruto met. The first time he met him i nshippuden, he tried to kill naruto because he was trying to scare him away. Im not saying sasuke is stronger, but even he said that he spared his life on a whim, rewatch their encounter for first time in shippuden. What that says is that, sasuke was only trying to cut the connection, not kill him. If naruto had killing intent, he wouldve put up a murderous fight against sasuke, they would've both been k.o'd due to plot that protects each of them from dieing.

Now actually Kurama told sasuke to not kill naruto, or he would live to regret it. Ever since then sasuke distances him self a lot. The reason being, Kurama knows that they were both transendants of ashura and indra. This means that, if sasuke or naruto were to kill each other, kaguya and madara would be victorious. And the prophecies would be screwed.

(PLease understand that this isnt me fanboying, but just staying honest to fact and giving my opinion. At that point..due to the fact that sasuke had some unfair development advantages, he was a little stronger/smarter than naruto, that was only because kyubi held back a lot of naruto's performance and development, but now they're are on equal footing, perhaps naruto might be a little stronger..afterall he is prophecy child, there is more power coming for him aside from the tailed beast given to him recently, even when naruto had mastered sage mode, he wouldnt really last very long with it)...again this isnt me favoring either characters, just basing my judgement off of the development of each characters since beginning.

I like naruto, he's probably my favorite character aside from lee and madara, but the facts are there. That is what the story is about, a hard worker/supposed failure that eventually becomes skilled at everything.
