I don't even know why people feel like proving God's existence when you guys are supposed to believe in God. In m y opinion that's pure insecurity, trying to prove Atheists wrong by proving something.

I had a discussion similar to this a few days ago. I tried to use the natural selection Argument but a believer said that "natural selection could not exist without a creator".

Why has everything to have a creator?
And why proving God's existence?
You're referring to the Christian concept of blind faith and anyone can appreciate why that's flawed, if you do have reason and certainty in what you believe then you have no foundation to believe in it and can never state it to be true.

Not everything has to have a creator but this reality does since it's a casual reality being finite and dependent.

atheists are idiots
Please refrain from insults. You're not accomplishing anything and are just making yourself look bad. Atheism may be wrong but its far from idiotic.

Most of your post (that isnt insulting) is off topic so please keep discussion on whether the claim in the title is false or not.

The goal isn't to prove anything. It's to give evidence and not even conclusive ones.

U WOT M8?
Im asking whether someone can sum this up

It has already been summarised plenty, read the premises and conclusions under each argument. Surely you're accustomed to reading more than 3 lines? If not you should take reading classes and try to expand your vocabulary past 'Itachi solos'.

Sorry but God doesn't exist. Humans didn't even know what gravity was 500 years ago. We couldn't even leave our atmosphere 100 years ago. Our comprehension of the universe is so finite and small. God is nothing more than a misunderstanding of how the universe actually works. There might be other life forms on other planets that we haven't discovered. The possibilities are endless to be honest. Humans haven't existed or explored the universe enough to form a conclusive answer on whether God exists. In my opinion, God is just a being formed from our imagination to explain why we exist. Also considering the fact that various ancient civilizations used to believe in super natural beings like ghosts and demons it's safe to say that God is also an irrational belief. Our vulnerability and fear is what powers such beliefs. There are logical explanations for why the universe exists, or why that creepy shadow in your room exists.

Religion is nothing more than a burden on humans anyways. It holds us back from our full potential. How many times has religion organizations interfered with the progress of science? Too many times to count. We would probably be more advanced if we directed all the effort that goes into religion to scientific research.

Basically, seeing God is not evidence to proves ones argument. There is other "evidence" to prove God existence.

I think.
That's not really what I said. (Maybe I should write less formally.) The point was that even though evidence isn't required to believe in God, belief in God has evidence going for it.

Oh, I know it was something like that. I skimmed it tbh.

Anyway, I agree to disagree. This argument your are presenting is only trying to accept a reality created by you.

Agree to disagree is fair enough but it would be more transparent if you explained why exactly my essay doesn't represent reality (as you see it).

"We go about our daily lives understanding almost nothing of the world. We give little thought to the machinery that generates the sunlight that makes life possible; to the gravity that glues us to an earth that would otherwise send us spinning off in to space, or to the atoms of which we are made and on whose stability we fundamentally depend. Few of us spend much time wondering why nature is the way it is; where the cosmos came from, or whether it was always here; if time will one day flow backward and effects precede causes; or whether there are ultimate limits to what humans can know. What is the smallest piece of matter. Why do we remember the past and not the future. And why there is a universe." — Carl Sagan

That moment when we realize we will die and plunge into eternal darkness without getting the answers we have all been searching for. Truly the only sad part about living.
