Thats what I was thinking, but Klad nailed it. Hence why I'm waiting to see if she actually explains why she worded it that way, cuz that really was a bad attempt at sarcasm.

What's up with stupid profiling attempt? The fact that you somehow trying to divide Indians in to different groups on the basis of some supposed skin colour makes me conclude you yourself are a fine example of Racism.

It was saracasm. Didn't think it would even need an explanation. The guy - the store owner looked someone from South Asia and was too afraid to even report or complain despite being looted- again and vandalized.
And some how it's a protest against racism... there are better ways to protest you know which do not involve vandalism and loss of property.

I think they find the concept of brown too much a trouble for racists anyways- Have you ever thought how much work it is to see a brown guy and try to decide which of the racist term would fit seeing the can be from anywhere from south Asia to Middle east ....

Thanks for advice but no thanks. I prefer it subtle. It's funny how many people can only understand the loud once accompanied by a lot of emotes or when they are making it themselves and then think they are capable of actually spotting the sarcasm.
Maybe some of you need to take a step back and think when they don't get something first time around.

There's a fine line between subtle and bad sarcasm, but to each his own. It is our nature, after all, to find the fault in others rather than ourselves. We need to get better at detecting sarcasm, you need to get better at using it, we all win and we all lose. Now then, let's get back to Murder 101.
Oh Please, do me a favour and when you make such silly comments without thinking properly, do not mention you are brown skinned. Seeing I'm brown myself, it's kind of embarrassing to be lumped in the same group as you at such times.

Not sure if I'm included in this and not that it matters but I'm white. How can you be ignorant of the fact that exploitation of different ethnicities and cultures has been a major part of the growth of Western civilization? Such a rugged self-sufficient individual you are.
OT: this was a decision not to indict. Indictment does not equal guilt, it only means that there is a probability of a crime that must be adressed. In this situation it means no further investigation is warranted, which I for one am not comfortable with. You have one guys story, the other guy is dead. Everything the officer said about being afraid for his life, you don't think that could also apply to Brown (who is dead btw)? IMO an indictment should be automatic in these situations.
