Nintendo Wifi was shutdown for Wii and Ds titles. Wii U and 3DS have Wifi now,

we cant play wifi on any Pokemon games for DSi , or Mario Kaart Wii or Super Smash Bros.

Temporarily though right? It doesn't make sense that they would permanently close a server with future titles coming for it's system.

You two know that this is a 3DS game, right? I mean it still sucks that they shut down the servers, but you'll be able to access Wi-Fi for this game.

Yeah,then just buy a 3ds. Problem solved.
Everyone is moving on,so it only make sense to shut it off to save money on the newer servers.
Either that or they are trying to boosted their sells on the 3ds.
