[Nintendo DS] Nintendo 3ds XLL Help?

So it's been a while since I even touched a Ds. Last night I decided to buy an XL and Pokemon X, yet when I try to connect to the internet while in game it says my software isn't up to date and I need to download it from Nintendo Eshop, but I can't find what I'm supposed to download.

A little help please? It would be much appreciated.

Yep, you need to download an update in the Eshop.

Yes. 1.1 is an update that fixes a game breaking save bug. I just bought one myself as a reward for finishing exams. That an Pokemon Y. Piece of advice, wonder trade is amazing early game. Just catch a bunch of garbage at the beginning and get yourself some awesome pokemon. I got all my starters that way including the original ones.The GTS however will help you "catch em all" but dont bother trying to use that until late game. People want specific stuff for trades
