*Strolls back into the training session shamefully* I'm back. xD
I'll simply go ahead and take the textbook route to pick up for lost time. My comments for those three techniques as a whole are that they're pretty useful with no drawbacks (actually, the transformation technique, not so much, meh). But the first two are passive in terms of being used in battle or RP, so that's nice. As you said, they allow us to perform feats which would otherwise be impossible.
The water walking technique can be used as a means of raising one's elevation by using an appropriate water technique to lift off of the ground. From there the advantage of being at a higher altitude can be used to get a better view of the battlefield, or to gain a more clear view of the opponent and their surroundings. The tree climbing technique... actually, I have a question on this one: would this allow you to move upward vertically along any surfaces besides a tree? Like a rock slab or something? Can you humor me a little more about what you think? How can you picture yourself using at least one of the three listed to your advantage in a fight? I don't want to pressure you or anything as training is a major deterrent to newcomers, but scanty replies are just as irksome to me :/
