Description:At first glance the clone appears to be a normal tangible Bunshin, but the user can detonate the clone at any time to form a very large explosion. (This shadow clone variant can only use normal ninjutsu, and Taijutsu).

Using this clone against a regular clone would require a pinch of unpredictability. Since this clone can utilize Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, it can simply engage a regular clone in a Taijutsu, implying it's a close-range battle. This would somewhat deceive the regular clone into thinking it's just a normal clone. However the user upon seeing the explosive clone has gotten on short-range, he can simply detonate the clone during that moment Thus blowing up the regular clone.

I listened carefully to Sasori instructions without giving off a hint of uncertainty. In the end, he wanted me to use both techniques in combination against him. Giving me a signal of attack, I swiftly devise plan which will probably catch Sasori of guard. In other for this plan to succeed, I first create multiple shadow copies of me that surrounds Sasori (360 degrees) and will serve as a temporary diversion. I'll then continue and create Kage bushin clones who spreads out hiding in the mist of my shadow copies. Afterwards, the Kage Bushin clones releases a barrage of shurikens at an angle of 180 degrees. With Sasori forced to react to the upcoming shurikens, I swiftly moved and attack him from his remaining 180 degrees blind-side.

Sasori is hit by his student's barrage of attacks. Fortunately, none strike his 'core'; his heart area. His puppet body is battered, but it seems like it's nothing too serious. He stands up mechanically, twitching for a few moments, then turning to face his student.

Description: After throwing one shuriken or more against their target, the user creates up to a thousand shadow clones of the shuriken (or kunai, senbon, etc, basically any basic weapon) after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger which multiply the damage as its striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.

Without hesitation I take out a shuriken, and throw it towards a nearby tree. I would also wave five hand seals concurrently which clones the shuriken. The shuriken easily makes contact with three, and base on the description of the technique, I realize if the Shuriken has explosive markings, it would also appear on the shuriken clones.
