Chakra
Chakra is the moulding of physical and spiritual energy that is channelled through the body with the chakra circulatory system. Chakra is used to perform ninja techniques. Different ninja have different sized chakra reserves, therefore some people can use more chakra consuming techniques.

I walk over to the large rock and sit on top of it in a meditative pose while focusing chakra throughout my entire body. I feel calm and try to relax as I keep the chakra under control and let it flow through my body at s normal pace.

You should feel a presence, not physical though.
Now continue to focus the chakra then increase the amount you are kneading then you should think of your self. You should have seen yourself in a mirror so you should think of the image of yourself that you see in a mirror, picture it in your mind, then believe it can manifest beside you.

As I am focusing my chakra, I manipulate it, increasing the amount of chakra that I am kneading while thinking about myself. I picture myself in a mirror, seeing an exact reflection of myself in my mind. I then believe that it can manifest inside of me

I run up to the lake while simultaneously focusing chakra into my leg and then channeling it into the soles of my feet, releasing a constant stream of chakra that is aimed downwards, allowing me to stay on top of the water without sinking through. I walk to the middle of the lake and stand there, waiting for further instructions.

-Create a battle scenerio where you use it using NPCs, combining it with things that you have learnt, 3 moves
-Create another scenerio where you use it in a different way from the upper one.
-What do you think? Is it useful?

The technique works by having the user focus his chakra and his complete attention on moving fluidly, rapidly but muffling any sound he may make while moving as well as his presence, etc. It doesn't suppress his chakra or hides it but it can make the opponent virtually undetected if he manages to get on the opponents blind spot.

1. Yukio begins by molding chakra inside his chest while converting it into water chakra. He spews the technique while simultaneously evaporating it into a large mist that surrounds both him and Choji, creatign a thick blanket of mist that covers the entire battle field. (Kirigakure No Jutsu - Hidding in Mist Jutsu)
After doing this, Yukio releases earth chakra through his feet into the earth underneath him, transforming it into fine sand, allowing him to dig through the ground and then appear behind Choji. (Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique)
After appearing behind the Akimichi, Yukio quickly equips himself with a kunai and stabs it into Choji's chest with a swift movement. Because of the speed of the attack, Choji would have almost no chance of defending against it. Choji's chance of being able to defend is also increased greatly by the thick mist and the fact that Yukio appeared behind him.(Muon Satsujin Jutsu - Silent Homicide Technique)
2. After seeing Lee start running towards him, Yukio quickly performs 4 handseals and releases lightning chakra from everywhere on his body, causing a bright blinding light to emanate from his body, blinding Lee. (Raigen Raikochu – Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar)
After Lee is blinded, Yukio flows lightning chakra through the blade of his sword after unsheathing it, causing the light to disappear. (Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana) - Grass Cutter Sword: One Thousand Birds Katana
Then, with a swift and silent swing of his sword, Yukio slashes at Lee's head, decapitating him. (Muon Satsujin Jutsu) - Silent Homicide Technique)
3. I think it is very useful because it allows you to kill the opponent quickly without alerting them of your presence.
4. Even though it can be used to kill the opponent, it might not be very effective if you do not use it to strike a vital area. Also it is D-rank so it is not that powerful.
5. To stop the opponent from striking, I would use a quick jutsu to release chakra from my body and repel them such as (Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current or (Jūkenpō: Ichigekimi) - Gentle Fist Style: One blow Body

If this is used correctly and if timed well then it's a one hit kill so I don't see why it is not as powerful as any s-rank jutsu though its D-rank.
As far as I know, lower rank jutsu even e-ranks are able to kill, the reason why they don't have high rank is because they require less chakra/energy to use though they can still be fatal. Imagine slashing a troat with freeform, if it hits then its instant death except if the victim uses med-jutsu.
On the defending part. You have to know or be aware of the user's presence before you react orelse it'll be pure metagaming.
You can use nearby sound or any sensory ability you may have and use it to flush out your opponent's position before they strike. And you can react with many things possible. I would personaly not like the easy way out as you thought, ilm talking about Nagashi or One Blow Body. It is cheap and should only be used when you have no other option. You can use a fast defensive amor, evasive jutsu or replacement techniques. Taijutsu and kenjutsu can also be used to intercept or block. Just be creative.
