Deactivating his invisibility as his 2nd student arrives, Kakuzu can be seen with his eyes closed and in a meditative position.

Not a good first impression. Then again, first impressions tend to be wrong. Now, both of you, tell me everything you know about Ninjutsu.

Ninjutsu are techniques used by ninja. The user uses their chakra to perform feats that otherwise could not be possible. A way to perform ninja techniques is to use handseals. There are two ways to manipulate chakra to use ninjutsu, shape transformation controls the form of chakra and nature transformation gives the chakra an elemental nature. There re also more advanced forms of ninjutsu, such as advanced nature kekkei genkai and ninjutsu which require extreme chakra control, such as medical techniques.

Sorry for the hold up. Work is a killer >.>

Ninjutsu is the term described for something someone does that requires chakra that cannot be done without it. It is used by most if not all ninja's in the manga. Ninjutsu is a versatile thing. It allows the user to perform offensive jutsu's such as Chidori and it allows the user to use it as a defensive jutsu such as substitution jutsu. It can also be combined with weapons which is shown by TenTen

In order to perform a jutsu it requires chakra and handseals depending on the jutsu. Most jutsu require handseal, but some don't. There are two kinds of elemental techniques. One of them is basic, which is based on the five elemental chakra, while the other one called advanced is based on mounding different chakra type creating a KG.

Kakuzu slightly tilts his head to the right, quite intrigued that both of his students know a considerable amount already.

Decent I guess. You already know a substantial amount about Ninjutsu, so let me further fortify your knowledge with my explanation of Ninjutsu and everything it entails. However, one thing you both failed to mention is that since Ninjutsu is a more primitive version of Elemental Ninjutsu, most techniques in this category are actually weak to all elemental ones. Few exceptions exist such as Rasengan, where the chakra is worked and molded with advanced shape manipulation, putting it on equal terms with elemental variants. Once you've read and understood the following, we will proceed.

Ninjutsu is the usage of chakra to perform various tasks which can't be performed otherwise. Its an extremely broad term and encompasses many things such as: weapon usage, medical uses, transformations and so on. Unlike Genjutsu, its effects manifest in reality and not solely in the illusonary. A notable user of Ninjutsu is the 2nd Tsuchikage due to his arsenal of highly regarded techniques. Through chakra manipulation alone, he could achieve flight through unknown means, turn his body completely invisible and "split" his chakra into two separate bodies. His splitting technique far surpassed conventional clone techniques as both halves of him are considered the "real" version of him, meaning they couldn't be dispersed.

Ninjutsu isn't solely based around chakra usage and performing complex techniques and maneuvers, but is also in reference to the skill set a ninja should possess. The term "Ninjutsu" literally means ninja skills, leading me to believe its actually a more abstract concept to what we first perceive. A ninja should be a keen analyzer of situations, capable of conjuring up plans, tactics and counters, both in the heat of a battle and in preparation for one. They must make proficient use of the various ninja tools at their disposal, using all of the utensils they possess to the fullest. Awareness is another very important skill a ninja should possess. Paying close attention to detail, making logical inferences about your opponent, gradually deciphering your opponent's fighting style, noticing minute disturbances in your surroundings and remaining vigilant at all times is required if a ninja is to survive. Often a lack of awareness leaves you prone to assassinations, being struck by invisible attacks or worse still, making you unable to realize nor release an illusionary technique.

Even with the astounding abilities a ninja can come to acquire, he/she should never overlook or forget these fundamental rules. It could very well result in their downfall.

Alright, our Ninjutsu training can be broken down into the following three categories:
-Weapons Usage
-Logistics of a Battle
-Learning the Techniques

The techniques will be learnt in the following groups:
-Ninja tools, scrolls and weapons usage
-Stealth and Detection (My personal favourite)
-Transformations and clones
-Miscellaneous (All other techniques grouped together)

Note about my training: Since I make you specialize in the different categories one at a time, you'll be learning techniques with different ranks in a random order. That being said, you cannot make any Ninjutsu custom techniques until you complete all of the Ninjutsu techniques.

Right now, we'll begin on weapons usage in a battle. Tell me about all of the ninja tools you know of, describe them thoroughly and how they can be used in battle.

The most common ninja tools in the series are the kunai and they shuriken. They are small bladed weapons that can be stabbed or thrown at the opponent to cut them or damage them. They are basic ninja tools, but can be very useful depending on how they are used. Their deadliness can also be increased with chakra/ninjutsu, such as the Shuriken Shadow Clone jutsu or Wind Release Gale palm. There are also larger versions of these weapons that can cause more damage (such as giant kunai or Fuma Shuriken)

Scrolls are also tools used frequently by ninja. They can be used to carry items or perform sealing jutsus. They can also be used simply to write on. They can be very small, so that they can fit in a pouch. They can also be very large, so that they can be used to seal large things within them.

Explosive tags are scraps of paper inscribed with a special writing, centring around the kanji for "explode". They are infused with chakra and can be activated remotely with a by a handseal or by igniting it with a flame. There are many ninjutsu that utilise the explosive tag, such as Hidden Explosive Tags Technique. They can also be attached to weapons and then thrown.

Wire strings are thin pieces of wires that are highly durable and can be used for many purposes, such as binding an opponent or being used as a conductor.

Swords are weaqpons with a handle and a sharp blade. They can be used to perform Kenjutsu techniques. The wielder can also use them with ninjutsu, by flowing chakra through them.

Kunai

The kunai is one of the most common tools used in Naruto. It is black in color and is used mostly for close combat or simply to throw at the opponent. The actual weapon is kept in their ninja pouch located by their leg or attached to their belt.
The kunai is a useful weapon due to its versatility. Due to it having a ring on its end it can be combined with wire, tricking the opponent due to the wire being extremely thin, a paper bomb creating a deadly explosion, a smoke bomb concealing your presence, gas bomb, creating a cloud of poison gas surrounding the opponent.

The ninja can also channel his elemental chakra into the kunai increasing its power. Lightning to increase its speed of which is travels and wind to increase its piercing potential.

Shuriken

Along with the kunai, the shuriken is one of the basic weapon used by ninja's. They are shaped in a four pointed star with a circle in the middle, allowing the user to insert his finger in it to avoid cutting themselves or to add wire inside the circle, similar to what Sasuke down against Itachi. Due to its shape, the shuriken can travel faster.

Fuma Shuriken

The fuma shuriken is a large, four-bladed shuriken that was created by the Fuma clan. It is basically a large version of the shuriken, but deals more damage than the average shuriken.
Like the shuriken, the fuma shuriken can also be used with ninja wire, along with channeling elemental chakra into it. Due to its size, the fuma shuriken has to be folded to be put away or be summoned from a scroll.

Senbon

The senbon was originally used by med nins, but after realizing its potential ninja's began to carry it with them into battle. Senbon are thin needle like sticks of metal. They can be used to numb a area, knock them out or to simply kill them. Due to its shape, the senbon are hard to deal with.

Makibishi

Makibishi are used to prevent someone or something from following you on foot. A ninja would usually scatter them all over the ground, while a fog or mist is present, hoping the blinded opponent will walk over them.

Scrolls

Scrolls are carried by most if not all ninja's due to its ability. The user can store weapons inside the scroll, summoning them during combat. They can use it for a summoning jutsu or use it for carrying a person.

Umbrella

The umbrella is used by ninja's from the rain village. The user throws the umbrella into the air causing the umbrella to release a onslaught of senbon raining from the umbrella in a spinning manner.

Sword

Katana's are carried by most ninja's. The samurai are known for their kenjutsu ability. Katana's come in different sizes, long ones for close combat and short ones used as throwing projectiles seen by ten ten. The blade of the sword can be infused with elemental chakra to increase its cutting potential.

That was a suspenseful wait, you guys almost killed me >_>. I ask that you reply more actively to training from now on.

Excellent display from the both of you. Make sure all of your replies are of that caliber.

Angle and direction of Ninja tools
These are the realistic aspects of the RP. We will be covering one at a time starting with Angle. These are some of the things you need to keep in mind when fighting in a battle.

Angle is a very important part when battling and if used right it can give you the upper hand over your opponent. It's very important to understand the angles in a battle. This is mainly used with ninja tools (shuriken, kunai and other projectiles) but you can also use this with certain techniques that are launched at your opponent. Just by stating the angle you can confuse your opponent.

For example:Ninja 1 and Ninja 2 are fighting. N1 throws 2 kunai at N2, one at the angle of 25 and the other on 75. The lower the angle, the faster the projectile. Most new people would say:"I intercept the kunai with one of my own, blocking them both." If you use angles, this is where you can score.

Here is a pic for reference:
You must be registered for see images

If N1 threw the kunai at an angle of 25 first your opponent would probably be defending from that one first thus he would fail to notice the other one. If he blocks the first one then the second one would hit him unless he kept his focus. Thus with one blow you can cause fatal injuries. (Credits to Cobalt)

Another neat trick I picked up is the efficient use of a flash bomb. By hiding a flash bomb in your sleeve/hand and dropping it onto the ground behind your position, you'll slyly blind your opponent without blinding yourself giving you the upper hand. Now, this is a nice tactic, however spamming it or over-using it will make you look unskillful and reliant on the upper hand it gives you. Use it sparsely.

Content that his students have understood everything that has been said thus far, Kakuzu decides to continue

Now, I want you to state and describe all of the different types of terrains that could be fought in, be as creative as you'd like. Along with this, I want you to list the different types of weather conditions and their significance to you in battle.

Terrain
Muddy/rocky area - This type of terrain is good for performing earth jutsu since there is earth everywhere
Sandy/desert area - This terrain would give sand users the upper hand in battles since there is sand to manipulate all over the battlefield. However, it would be harder to control because it is not chakra-infused sand
Area with trees/dense forest area - This would be useful for perfroming wood techniques. Also, you could use the trees for multiple other different purposes.
With or without water source - So that water jutsu which require a water source can or cannot be used. The terrain could even be ON a water source
Just a regular field - So that there is nothing special about the terrain.
Enclosed spaces - so that there is not a lot of space

Weather
Raining - Useful for rain jutsu or water jutsu. Could also weaken fire jutsu
Hot - Could increase the heat of fire jutsu
Cold - Could be useful for Ice users. Could decrease heat of fire techniques
Stormy - Could be used to perform lightning jutsu
Humid - Useful for performing some water jutsu
