Ninjutsu is generally refered to as a technique a ninja uses that is made possible via nature and shape manipulation of chakra, unlike genjutsu, the effects are physical, not an illusion, as such the victim will recieve physical damageU_U

Alright, you are correct about the chakra manipulation, and Ninjutsu, while it is a general term, also refers to the Basic Five, however, what we will be learning is much like the fundamentals.

Ninja tools are weapons/objects that aid a ninja in combat, they can be used along side taijutsu and ninjutsu mostly, using scrolls for example, a user could carry so many weapons that normally won't be possible.

A kunai is the most common weapon of a ninja, it is a black knife/dagger used in combat, used in stabbing a target, it can also the thrown to pierce the target, and is often used by attaching, tags(explosive and flash tags mostly) a ninja could also channel his/her chakra to increase its sharpness, range, or even multiply it in advanced cases

1. Well in a close combat I'll most likely strike the heart,the lungs or the jugular, lower back of the head

2. I would slip it in while throwing a series of real ones, all to deceive the enemy into reacting to the fake tag

Just like the kunai, a shuriken is also a common basic ninja tool also known as throwing stars. They usually have four pointed edges, with a circular hole in the middle which is used in handling the shuriken, they can be very deadly if used well, and are often used in ninjutsu and taijutsu.

1. Due to the shape, it can be thrown with pin point accuracy at the target, and the center hole makes it easy to use I think?

2. He attacked a chakra string to it which he used in rigging it, he also channel is lightning chakra through the string in another scenario. Thats what I remember

Sorry, forgot to add that It has no effect on kg like byakugan that can see tenketsus and has a wide range, since the smoke has no chakra, the byakugan will see right through it, and also sharingan, since it can see chakra, however if something like a kunai that is with out chakra, the sharingan will not see the kunai.
