Ninjutsu with Gobi

[Shadou]

A shadowy figure is spotted, approaching the training grounds. The man was covered in an all red cloak, which hid his eyes from outside view. The wind let off a slight breeze making the man’s cloak flow in the direction of it. The man was Shadou Uchiha, member of konohagakure. Today he would seek the aid of a well-known sensei by the name of Gobi, in attempt to learn and further his knowledge in the art of ninjutsu.

I’m here…..

Shadou looked around, observing his surroundings while patiently waiting for his sensei's arrival. A smile came over his face, he seemed determined to grow stronger. In an effort to kill time, Shadou took his cloak off, revealing his long black hair and eyes. He then took a seat on the ground, crossing his legs and going into a state of meditation.

Arriving a tad late, Amaimon comes slandering to the training ground, accompanied with a bag of sweets. Munching a last piece from the bag, he puts it away. Finishes, and then stares intently at the student he had acquired himself.
''So... Shadou?'' He spoke with a curious tone, however without waiting for a reply he straigthed out his back, and continued ''Well, Ninjutsu, was it not? Come on, get up. Well, tell me all you know about the art, so I know what I have to work with.''

 

[Shadou]

Shadou spots a man approaching the grounds who he assumes is his sensei. He stops his meditating once he realized his training was about to begin. Already hungry, watching his sensei take the last bite of sweets from his bag made Shadou’s stomach roar at him. He rubbed his stomach in an effort to calm the hunger down.


I guess this is him?

Shadou unfolds his legs and uses his right arm for support as launches himself back up. He grins and starts to go over all of his knowledge of ninjutsu in his head. He prepared his explanation of ninjutsu in his mind, making sure he wouldn’t make any mistakes. He noticed the serious look that was on his senseis face and didn’t want to anger him.


Ninjutsu is an art that any skilled ninja should know. The techniques usually rely on chakara and accurate hand seals to be effective. Hand seals are sometimes not required for more skilled ninja who can perform some ninjutsu techniques at will. Usually when performing a ninjutsu technique, the two methods of shape manipulation or nature transformation are used.

Different from the art of Genjutsu, the effects of ninjutsu are very real and not illusions. Ninjutsu serves many purposes such as transforming the user or evading an opponent’s attacks. Ninjutsu can also be used alongside with weapons.

He looked onto his sensei, waiting for his approval. Hoepefully if he missed any important details, his sensei would inform him of so.

Stroking his scruffy beard, he slowly nodded as Shadou started spouting out information. As he finished, Amaimon raised his hand. With a swift motion, he threw it at him in a pointing manner. ''Aha. Brilliant, but how would you define the two methods of usage - Shape manipulation and Nature Transformation?''

 

[Shadou]

Shadou smiled, sensing by the tone of his sensei’s voice that he had answered correctly on the basics of ninjutsu. He jumped in shocked when his sensei suddenly pointed at him. Once regaining his composure, he started to explain what the two techniques were.

Shape manipulation is when the user of a technique controls and molds the shape, movement, and potency of his or her chakara. Thru shape manipulation, a ninja can change let’s say a stream of fire into a deadly sphere of flames.

Nature transformation is a form of advanced chakara control that deals with changing the physical properties of chakara into an element. Like shape manipulation, nature transformation is a required technique for creating an elemental technique.

''Utmost correct.'' *Hands you a leaf.* ''As you may know, we Ninjas are capable of running up trees, and standing on them sideways, without falling - Defying gravity. But how? Obviously via the usage of chakra, by creating a stablized layer beneath the soles of our feet we're capable of performing such feats, making it work as a functional magnet in such cases. I want you to infuse the leaf with your chakra, and have it become attached to a part of your body, defying gravity - Before we proceed onto the actual techniques.''

With a quick glance to the sky, and then quickly back a shadou, he continued ''Oh, and while you're at it, tell me if you've begun any other trainings of the sort, which involves Ninjutsu, such as Fire release, or Genjutsu.''

 

[Shadou]

Shadou takes the leaf from his sensei and begins to stare at it. Once instructed on what to do, Shadou nods his head and lets the leaf rest in the center of his palm. He begins to concentrate while gathering all of his chakara from within. He channels his gathered chakara towards his hand that was holding the leaf. Keeping focused, Shadou let his chakara infuse with the leaf. He turned his hand so that his palm was facing down while looking down to see that the leaf did not float away and that it seemed like it was stuck to him. Shadou took one step forward to reassure himself that the leaf wasn’t going nowhere.

Once done with the given task, Shadou looked back up at his sensei with a smirk on his face, waiting for approval.

Oh and I’ve had some training in fire, wind, and lightning. Still haven’t mastered those elements but I’m well on my way.

 

[Gobi Gobletsson]

Examining his student, he approves. ''Superb. Well, lets get onto business then.'' He pulls out a handful senbons(Three). ''Coat these with your chakra, and swallow them. Have them hidden within your throat. Having done so, will allow you during close-quarter to for example, launch an attack using the element of surprise.''

(Theres some confusion whetever these are real senbons or chakra-based-created once. I will get back to you about that, I will have to check up on it myself. If I forget it, please do remind me.)

 

[Shadou]

Shadou carefully takes the senbons from his sensei. He raises one of his eyebrows and wonders why his sensei would want him to swallow these. Shrugging his shoulders, Shadou decided not to ask why and just to do what his sensei had asked of him. He holds his right hand out with the three senbons resting on his palm. Shadou begins gathering his pure chakara, coating all of the senbons with it. Shadou proceeds to open his mouth widely while raising his right hand by his mouth which makes the senbons fall in where they are then swallowed down to his throat.

Examining the well-executed swallowing proccess Amaimon proceeded ''And now pratise the use of them, any target, feel free.''

 

[Shadou]

Shadou nods his head after hearing his sensei’s instructions. He quickly charges to a tree that he would be using as a target for this task. Once close to the tree Shadou shifts his body to the right, with both of his arms extended to his left side. He turns his head to the left so that the tree is in his vision. He then calls forth the needles that he had previously swallowed and spits a few at the tree with perfect accuracy. Each senbon lands in the center of the tree bark. He quickly shifts his head to the right to spot another tree that was near him. He opens his mouth and blows out the remaining needles. They all hit the tree in the same spot, showing that Shadou had great precision.

The next is about timing and precise throwing.

Throw one of these, followed by another immediately. Have the second travel in the shadow of the first, hiding it from the naked eye, creating a surprising trap.

 

[Shadou]

Shadou reaches his arms out and carefully catches each of the demon wind shuriken’s, making sure to not accidently slice one of his fingers from one of the large blades. He then places a shuriken in each hand and places his hand in the middle opening of the two to establish a firm grip. He places his left arm behind his back, concealing one of the large shurikens from an opponent’s view, if there was one.

I think I got this.

Shadou raises his right arm and brings it back behind his head. In one quick swift motion, He swings his right arm forward, throwing the first demon windmill shuriken. Right after releasing the first shuriken, Shadou brings his left arm from around his back and quickly tosses the second demon windmill shuriken with perfect accuracy so that it would travel right behind the first. The second traveled directly behind the first, hidden to the naked eye.

The shurikens continued to travel through the air, in a spiraling motion, the four blades on each shuriken slicing through the air around them. The first demon windmill shuriken cuts through a tree with ease. Before the top half of the tree that was sliced could hit the ground, the second demon windmill shuriken sliced through the remaining pieces of wood. If a human had been the target of the shurikens, they would surely be hit by the shurikens, if not the first then the hidden second one would’ve definitely hit.

Those blades are quite sharp, sensei.
